The waters never cool now in the Arctic. Not even in winter due to the fact there is less refraction of UV rays on the snow (light color) and more is being absorbed by water (Dark color = more absorption) which in turn exponentially increases the global ocean temperatures each year. This is the start of a great cycle of climatic change. What the planet normally does in 15,000 years, we are capable of doing in 150-300 years. Scary shit no?
