They act like that for Japanese celebrities. Japanese celebrities aren't even allowed to have girlfriends/boyfriend just because of their fanbase.

Wow, everyone was so calm entering the hall! If this were the US, there would be girls scrambling for a seat in the front row, but people were actually taking rear seats!!! But I guess the Japanese culture is quite reserved in general...
