the track or the cars don't seem to be able to build up enough momentum to pass on the outside whether in a duo with a run or in a pack. if u look at the battle for third nearing the end when the jr. group closed in on the other 2 they should have been able to pass them both on the outside and in the battle for the win the guy in second unless he played the situation wrong in theory should have been able to pass via the draft also. meh oh wells the new cars r out and the physics should be better

i thought iracing was a racing sim? Talladega looks nothing like this racing wise. This was like a california race where no cautions happen and everybody is spread out. I guess they dont have a certain fixed setp for pack style racing. The way dega really is.

You can pick up a used Logitech Driving Force GT for <$100 used on amazon.

BTW, if you can't afford a $100 wheel you can't afford a race car. Spare us the off season bs.

I was wondering if anyone used the Xbox gamepad. I was just looking into iRacing as a way to sharpen my skills as a driver during the offseason, I dont want to spend $100 on a wheel, Also, i was wondering if the standard Xbox wheel would work.

The names listed in the info section are the main reason I'll never get iRacing. Wood, Davies and their cronies are the biggest online hackers I've ever seen. Say iRacing can't be hacked just makes it a fun challenge for them. I've seen them do it time and time again in other racing sims and this is no different. Like it or not, their reputation precedes them 200%. BTW, does Fogel get on a server still and greet everyone with his racial slurs and the "N" every other sentence? I'll pass....

jr uses tsw wheels exclusively. matt thomas from upstate ny designed and built it and its also got a custom monitor/wheel stand as well. i use a momo for race on/race07 and it works GREAT. as far as g25's go there's now a g27 that has no whining when you spin the wheel its silent.

Your right, that came over a bit strong, but i guess my point was i'd like to be able to race these races sooner. i have the car, been racing 2003 for years and have been told it takes 40-50 weeks to get to this point. Is that true?.And that you have to buy all the series tracks?

well kind of. right now iracing is working on a new program that if u get 1.0 higher than required to move up, then u can move into the next class in mid-season.
