  • sweet

  • i want this beautiful phone Nexus > Evo.

  • @delayneee

Yep, because the Evo runs at 30FPS and the N1 runs at 60FPS, making the Evo an instant FAIL thanks to HTC's stupid business decision.

  • Go check out my latest rooted nexus one videos, 2 videos added today, I show you how to use ADOBE FLASH on my videos, you wont regret it, might as well sub if you like to get the latest goodies as they come to your nexus one, or simply if you are wondering how amazing the phone can be, on the hands of a real user and not these other reviewers that make the phone seem so dull and plain.

  • it says 3.8 inch display in the video.. i thought it was 3.7

  • @burningjelly4lyfe It is 3.7.

During the design process I guess they changed the size or something.

  • @hackm0d lol i know it is 3.7... i guess htc took hints from motorola?

  • @burningjelly4lyfe Actually I think they got it from their own Touch HD, which had a 3.8" screen.

  • When does it come to Sweden ?

  • Thats a hell of a phone

but i stay with the oldie but goldie iPhone

  • Go check out my rooted nexus one vids fellas, make sure you sub for future ones.

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM Its just bigger screen and better processor...wait, yep its better xD

  • @SniperSplosion I'm ditching my HD2 for a nexus for one reason:

    android

  • @ParkerH191 i heard that the Nexus One isn't built by Google. Rather, built by HTC.

  • @BoogsterSU2 It is. And that's clear in the video.

  • @SniperSplosion processor is the same

  • @DJTEVAdotCOM its windows mobile. it fails.

  • iPhone FTW

  • @KISSArmyMax522 gimme a brea...my iphone got itz screen cracked on drop...luckily google did drop test on nexus

    WTF?

  • Oh God I want one, IN MALAYSIA!

  • @lenix016 Get a friend or relative in Singapore to order and bring it back for you. That's what I did =)

  • No friends or family there T.T

  • ohh, too bad =(

Then wait for it to be available here, or hope that the HTC Desire is launched locally!

  • P.S. Actually, I remember that there are people selling it on the Low Yat forums, if you don't mind paying an extra RM200+.

  • Einfach geile Videos

  • not so informative ... but I must appreciate the amazing talent and efforts in composing this video ! who created it ?

  • I personally have the HTC HD2 because I'm living in the Netherlands now. Anyway, I love it... you go HTC!

Whenever I have the chance I'll change to another HTC similar to the HD2 but with Android!

  • i wish you can come out a update for the g1 to go to 2.0

  • I love you Google

  • I really like this series of videos.

  • Google should have released with this video.

  • if you give them for free gimme one :D

  • im sure the new iphone will re-kick ass. well i hope, i like to see it stay competitive.

  • @KingofAfghans i'm no android fan but this phone puts the iphone to shame! No doubt the iphone had its time but that time is over. Hell I'd take the HD2 over an iphone. The hd2, the nexus one and soon to be released HTC Supersonic make the iphone look like childs toy. The qualcomm snapdragon processor alone thrashes the iphone. NUFF SAID

  • lol hella people hate my comment.......there all good phones but the genuis idea of apps has grown into something big and now there is 500,000 apps!

  • fail

  • this phone fails!

  • i love it hahah. i cant wait for the car dock. you plug it in, it and it transmits bluetooth to stereo while charging. No stupid tuning in stations like the iphone. FAIL. Iphone is a joke until the new one comes. Based on the Idouche that just came out, the new phone should be a bag of suck.

  • well listen there all good phones, i have tryed them all and there all even in there own special ways but the reason i like the iphone the best is because of the idea apps! it has grown into something huge, you can find a app for everything!

  • And you cant find an app for everything on Android? name one that you cant find

  • gecio......plus droid's apps suck

  • did i see 2 macbook pros in this vid thats odd

  • Was this a vid at CES? Zzzzz.....and I consider myself a tech geek. Not geeky enough, I guess.

  • How open is this phone?

Can I run my own applications?

Can I install whatever applications I want?

    Can I modify the system?

    Are there any restrictions?

  • @Frap357 like every phone in the world you can answer yes to each question. some phones just need a hack or jailbreak.

  • @dealerovski82,

Apple are assholes and restrict what applications get accepted into AppStore.

    Everything costs money.

Jailbreak it, and you risk bricking it.

I want it to be open and freedom by default.

  • I will get either this one or the future HTC "Supersonic". Gonna what for the "Supersonic" to see if it's worth it, if I can stand the waiting ofcourse.

  • @peterthegreat86 the supersonic is gonna be sick!!!!!! let me know if you find any new news on it.

  • getting my phone from fedex this morning!!! I cant wait, andriod is moving up quick.

  • its so beautiful, im so gonna get one

  • Doesn't make sense, especially at this position!

  • But why does it need a trackball???

  • for people who don't want to use the touchscreen

  • for those people who don't like to get the display greasy, i think (sorry for the bad english, i'm italian!)

  • my only question is that does android market has that much great apps & games as apple has for iphone 3g s,,,it's this question only which is tempting me towards iphone 3g s

  • the android platform is much younger, so there are not that much apps.

but i think in near future the android market will have more an more useful apps than apple

  • but my doubt is that, currently i'm using samsung i8910,,a phone with hardware to die for but then symbian just don't have great games & apps to make use of such a great hardware,,therefore my question is does android has games & apps that can match that of apple iphone 3G S,,because whats the use of a great processor if u can't use it to full

  • @tarunchatwith Why do you want to get an iPhone? EVERYBODY has iPhones. Do want to be like everyone else. Not to mention the horrible service and costs.

  • but mate my question is that does android has that great apps & games that can fully use the hardware of this phone like that of apple

  • The iPhone definitely has more apps, games, and such. Android still has a lot of potential and with the hardware of the Nexus One it can go farther now. But if you want all that now then get the iPhone for its 100,000 apps and games. But you have to remember not all of them are good and are more expensive than on Android. In the United States the iPhone has bad cell phone service so if you don't live here then you shouldn't worry about that part.

  • To keep within car analogies, the Nexus ONE is what Saab is to cars. A wonderful piece of engineering suited for people who care about engineering, tech, quality and flexibility/tweakablity within usability.

I like the phone, I like the niche its placed in, now sell it all over Europe already before it gets dated.

  • Source? And if it is, whats your point?

  • Does anyone know if it's possible to make apps that make use of the dual mic's, or can it only be used for phone calls?

  • God, why did I buy the HTC Hero?? I so regret that choice -.-

  • Amazing!

  • Such a brilliant and gorgeous piece of technology - how did I ever manage without it?!

  • Comment removed

  • at 1:15 does anyone notice that it says stabliz.

  • Unibody designs have been round long before even cell phones.

don't start this kind of shit.

  • @StarlightMassacre Agreed.

  • I also love the music, what's the name of the song?

  • do someone knows who make the music ? it's wonderful ... and it's wonderful nexus-one too....

  • is anyone know how to add "series" feature to youtube video?

  • does it include tv-out, can i do my presentations with nexus?????

  • omg at the end it has an annotation that leads you to another website

  • Love this phone..!

My only problem though, is that I keep spending all my free time messing with it, installing weird things on it and customizing it's look...

Gah... I should have stayed with my old Nokia 3100... now it's really hard to go back...

  • ANDROID IS TEH WIN

  • well someday i will get one maybe

  • I think I'll wait till the Nexus 6.

  • ahah true

  • it's that a mac laptop at the beginning ? ahaha

  • So? HTC/Google are only competitors in the mobile phone market.

Otherwise they are partners with a tough relationship.

  • Last time I checked Apple showed YouTube and Google Maps as core applications on my iPhone homescreen.

Of course I wont see Google Voice on my iPhone (then again, I am in Europe, so I wont be seeing it either way in the near future).

  • so what? the biz model is different, Google is all abt web and search, and the approach is Andriod, Nexus is just a tool ;) right?

  • @daxx2k No chrome os yet!

  • Its almost the perfect phone for its generation, in terms of design, performance, efficiency, simplicity and speed.

In other words, It screams Google :)

    Google FTW

  • nice bass in background music; 5 stars for that ;-)

  • I was about to get this one, but Google announced it it going to launch some other Mobile Phones as well, so I'll wait.

  • @Superharas I almost did the same... I expect them to maybe launch another version with a keyboard... but I eventually decided I don't need a keyboard on my phone. It was hard to give it up, since I had been using a blackberry, but to be honest, I am happy with my decision. Also, google has a feature for voice to text in any text box.... and it actually works really well.

  • nexus one là 1 đống cứt

  • Hurry up and sell the car dock... THANX

  • COOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLL i'm gonna buy one very soon

  • @medarknexs You won't be disappointed, I love this phone.

  • Start using one, after a week you really feel the power of this software and you become to see the flaws of Apple OS.

And about ugly, instead of no customize freedom at all (Apple OS) you have the complete ability to style it your own way.... so it's totally up to you how beautiful or ugly your Phone will be.

@Movie: Really nicely done, looking forward to the following episodes :)

  • I think many of the people who put down money for the iPhone are fully aware of the flaws of iPhone OS...but those flaws don't offset the massive potential of having a large number of apps, and an app ecosystem that - restricted as it may seem - right now offers the biggest incentive for further development.

That and a solid track record of continued improvement via frequent OS upgrades sealed the deal for me.

It's no longer just all about the device. It's also about the infrastructure.

  • I think you're entirely correct - it's a complete package that works - yes it's restricted, yes it's control freakish, but the average mobile user gets everything they want from it.

Android users are, at this stage, still more the early adopters and therefore expect more from the OS and UI. The 'open' nature of the OS is not a selling point - ease of use and functionality are. These are what Google need to brush up on fast. Android is rapidly mainstreaming and the UI needs to reflect that

  • @monsuur

iphone wannabe !!! guess you never tried it by yourself before, it surpasses the iphone in almost every aspect, the only thing that you're going to miss is the lack of top-quality games like in the iphone but that wont stay long especially that google is starting to focus on that market

  • I'd like to know... why when all this design thought went into the device you still ended up putting a track ball on it and why from a design perspective it looks like you hired someone from the 70's to work on the aesthetics... odd.

Great device - there is one in my household but when you see HTC devices like the HD2, Bravo and the upcoming Supersonic - how did you get this one so wrong?

  • @steveobhave The trackball is actually extremely useful for fine text selection and cursor control. I have tried the Palm Pre Plus and wish it had a trackball. The iPhone does have a dynamic zoom capability to help with fine cursor control, but the trackball is still more efficient.

  • I should've been more clear - why use a track ball when there is the option of an optical track pad. The soft keys are average also.

I know it's early days, but when you have some stunning examples of both hardware and UI design available - why you end up with a round brown phone? Googles UI revision of Android leaves a lot to be disired. They could've done so much more and instead they did a "Google" and released a BETA phone - i.e. lets put it out there and fix it on the fly. Could do better
