He was on the cover of The Toronto Sun and I remember not being a bit surprised and in fact no one in our class was surprised, there was one quote from this idiot druggy at our school in the paper and it said "he was a good guy and liked to party" and I remember the whole class laughing as we all new Dave and if anyone was going to end up a killer it was him,he was niether of those things and must have been the only guy available to comment.

He was (not sure now) kept in touch with an ex of mine who he went to school with and apparently he had no remorse years later and she was at the trail and half the time he wore a smirk on his face.Afriend and I used to walk by there house on our way to school and we saw the police all around the house when he was busted and yeah it was near the library. He was nuts we would walk by going to school and he'd call us "fags" we didnt even know him. Bad for the sake of being bad!

I remeber that party,near the Library I think. He was very menacing,he already had the build of a man while we all still looked like kids. His younger brother and sister seemed so normal compared to him. I went to School with Darlene,she was so nice and was even a model when we had a fashion day. Looking back now she seemed very with Drawn.

What people who never knew David could not understand was the fear that people felt around him,way before this murder,it's not like he had a bad day and mad a random decsion to kill Dolly,he terrified allot of people and he was known as a sadist and a ticking timebomb,if it was not Dolly it would have been another.

Some friends and I were about 12 went to a house party at the Dobson's thrown by David's younger sister, who we went to secondary school with. We were all in this tiny basement listening to music, when someone made a joke about the stereo being small, well David went insane and started smashing up the place ,the party instantly ended with everyone clearing in horror onto the streets ,my last image of him was pushing over a postbox and chasing a boy into the park! Please keep him in Jial.

I went to High school with David and "sGoodbyelove" is right, Dobson was a bully and not just your typical bully he was terrifieing,he once called me a fag and attacked me me in hallway because of my haircut, I suffered a cuncusion from it and ended up changing schools as I was horrified of going back. He was the size of a man and already had a mustache not your typical student. LIFE MEANS LIFE!!

times like this make me wish canada wasnt so sympathetic to people.

my mother used to go to school with him and she told me he had acted like this his whole life. ever since they were in grade 7. people like him should be psyco analized and kept locked up. i have read what he wrote in the letter he sent to the police,he said he would kill again, why would they even think of letting him out?
