  • The best Eurovision song ever, end of!! Infact my favourite song ever!!

  • remember this as if it was yesterday..love it the words are great oh those were the days when you could understand singing

Merci.

  • A melhor canção de todos os tempos

  • vicky est une chanteuse fantastique!

  • Classy bird, great song.

  • I am forever debating the best ever Eurovision song. Apres Toi is always on the short list. L'amour est bleue should have won by a mile back in 1967. This is a classy song, no doubt.

  • may be the best ever, really good!

  • sauvons la Grèce

  • my dad liked her i could not understand why now i do lol

  • In this video, Vicky is 23 years old. Today, "lady" gaga is 25 years old... I leave the comments to you...

  • Heres a thought!! Of the 3 French language songs winning Eurovision in the early70s ie 1971 Severine,72 Vicky and 73 Anne-Marie which singer has the thinnest voice?Yes,its VL.She only just makes that toi in a few places.

  • i won't say much abot the lyrics, i rarely like a song's lyrics and yes this one is about average. But the music and the sound of Vicki...this makes me feel strange...The way she looks..her eyes...have a exciting (and pleasing) mystery...

  • @ charmedgr oh, i misunderstood your first comment, sorry about that. Not only Greece, i think the whole world should be proud of her. There rarely comes such a talent like Leandros...

  • One of the best ESC songs ever. In the 70ies all songs wihich ranked on peak positions were sung by people who really were able to sing.

  • @ud1966 i totally agree...and look at ESC now...there rarely joins a "singer" with a considerable "song" and they have no chance to win ESC since nowadays people want to hear noise instead of real music.

  • merveilleuse voix et sublime artiste ! Victoire méritée

  • Simply wonderful - A beautiful girl, singing a beautiful song.

  • SHE IS GREEK

  • @charmedgr1234 so what?

  • @fevgo303 nothing just Greece is proud of her..........

  • don't thik that please...

  • As good today as it was then and I remember watchin' it!

  • C'est géant, inqualifiable. Merci immensément Vicky

  • J'ai beaucoup aimé cette chanson merveilleusement interprétée

  • walk on by...isn't it?

  • Grossartig-- immer wieder S u p e r !!!!!!!!!

  • Reminds me of Abba's Dancing Queen quite a bit.

  • Elle était en pleine forme!! Magnifique!!

  • @tarqogan: of course you could try to learn another language and understand what she sings about, then, maybe, you would undrstand the black dress, idiot

  • She's dressed very sombrely and looks as though she attending a funeral instead of the Eurovision Song Contest.

  • Did she win?

  • Yes!

  • @ZAOUWV yes.She won.

  • Das ist Musik.

  • Along with 'Hallelujah' this is one of those songs that always turns up on Eurovision compilation CDs, and just like with 'Hallelujah' I can't stand it - I think it's dreary and whiney! Far preferred the Luxembourg winner the following year. And (off-topic a bit, sorry) I can't help thinking that the BBC just weren't trying with that stage set...

  • @Hawkwoman246 Fair comment about the songs, but the 'stage set' was fine. it's no worse than any other for the time up to then. It's only comparatively recently that technology, special effects (and dancing) have taken the whole thing away from being a SONG contest to being a full-on light-and-sound extravaganza, in which stage decoration somehow becomes important to the proceedings. But the stage set shouldn't be important in a SONG contest.....surely?

  • is one os best song of eurovision, its one of finalist of congratilations

  • Actually this is one of the few occasions on which Ms Leandros has been able to hold (almost) all the notes of a song. Her performance of the classic "L'amour est bleu" in the 1967 ESC was not good at all, and in the 2006 German final she was a total disgrace.

Although the UK entry was a better song (and performance), it failed to win, probably because many judges resented the home team's heavy publicity campain. And, when all is said and done, "Après toi" does remain a true classic.

  • Merci Vicky Leandros....

  • superbe artiste superbe chanson!

  • This tune sounds mildly familiar to me; I live in Canada and I am 42 y/o; i must have heard it way back when on the radio; great song! :-)

  • eurovision 1972

  • I LIKE VICKY LEANDROS

  • @jacquesurlus I understand what you say and I agree. D'accord. (pardon my bad French).

  • @jacquesurlus Yes, I agree that Vicky should have won in 1967, and that her win in 1972 made amends for that bad result
