The Assault rifle is just ahead the best standard weapon in the game and my personal favorite too. And the "ice pick" is for hacking, you can hack stuff with it even if you don't have the skill.

You appear to currently be carrying two of the Red and Blue implants. To be fair, you only need one Red and Blue, so it'd be wise to dump the excess implants.

Also, that LabAssistant implant will be VERY useful for the research ahead.

Heavy, Exotic, Standard, Laser. Yes all weapons. Or you can save the modules and use them when you really need to. You don't need more hacking, you get planty of those ICE picks, just use them when your hack skill isn't big enough (only few things that really need hack 6 in this game, not worth it). More weapon skills and more melee weapons make that good Strenght in use.

I think you should go back to the Chemical Storage room and get that "Unresearched Object" off of that Midwife and research it. It might make it easier to kill them ...

Put more points to agility = more speed, so you can outrun enemies and turrets!

Also ICE-pick is an automatic hacking tool. I recommend that you save them to the end of the game!

@darKagami You don't really need the ICE-picks if you use an assault rifle with burst mode or have hacking trained to full.

That brings us to the things to train. Standard to full is a good choice. There is no match for a fully upgraded assault rifle. It uses pistol ammo and melts everything with the proper ammo.

Granade launcher is great, but the assault rifle is just as deadly, you can't accidentally harm yourself with it, it hits targets immediately and the rate-of-fire is much better.
