My family have owned alot of fords and vauxhalls now my mum owns a mercaides a class and my dad owns a bmw 5 series estate and every time either of them go wrong they cost an absolute rip off for replacement parts. Their vauxhalls and fords never went wrong anymore which just proved all engineering nowadays has caught up and German charge rediculous prices because of their reputation so they can.

5.8/6.1 is a 2wd saph.

My Sierra 3dr cosworth is over 20 years old....and i'm very proud to have a 21 year old car parked on my drive knowing that it would beat the majority of cars on the road today, and i'm pretty sure, after paying £15,000-£25,000 for a decent 3dr or a RS500, 'YOU' would be happy with it parked on 'your' drive! everyones entiteled to there opinion, aslong as they actually know what there talking about!

the sierra sapphire cosworth standard, produces: 201bhp, 204lb/ft torque with a 0-60mph time of 6.5 seconds and a top end of 155mph, which is quick(even by todays standards). you can pick a decent 'standard' sapphire cosworth up for around £7,000. so obviously beeing a standard car, it will be reliable and also cheeper to maintain than 'newer cars'.................

Well of course the cossie was tuned - it says up the top - 420bhp. Nearly all cossies are tuned, they're designed to be. M cars are fast, but a well tuned cossie will eat any M car in acceleration, a good friend on mine had his 3dr cossie peak 479bhp, and that's not really that high, ferocious acceleration, he beat a supercharged e46 m3 at santa pod!
