  • absolutley love this song from UK

  • OMG!!! Joni has that 'X-FILES type of disease; Morgellons Disease! I hope she don't commit suicide because of the itching.

  • one of my very favourite songs of all time ;)

  • Why can't i find a 'techno' or 'electro' or 'remix' or 'MASHUP' version of this song???? The $UPREMES did the best 'over the top' version of it! I wanna find a version i can dance 2!

  • @ChrisCrossdresser - For real? This song? I hope such a version will never cross my ears.

  • @00oww , just youtube "the supremes + all i want". It was taped for the Sonny & Cher show, in 75.

  • @ChrisCrossdresser - Well, that's not so bad, actually, but to translate this song to techno or electro would be dreadful. Horrendous. Wicked. Sacrilege.

  • Joni Mitchell is a poet, muscian and artist, she has inspired the last 2 decades, she is untouchable

wish she realizied her own contribution, and realized we all have something to contribute

  • @Violenceinmind40 She did, but for some reason MTV and VH1 banned her. Now, her popularity is

exploding. The wims of commercial popularity is all so boring.

  • Blue recently became one of my all-time favs. So genuine and beautiful

  • I love this song. It is like she takes the words right out of my heart

  • Genius!

  • the story of my life!!! thank you Joni! Happy b-day, woman!

  • Joni has always been an exquisitely beautiful artist, and miles of isles is the album that brought her to me. GREAT SONG

  • I love this song so much. <3

  • Love this song, I can so relate to everything she says.

Always wondered what string instrument she was playing. Mountain docimer. Gonna have to find one , and check it out.

  • I've been listening to Keith Jarrett's 1972 version since ,,,,,,,,1972. I've never felt the need to explore the original until a whim took me about a week ago. More fool me. Nearly 40 years denying myself this. Lesson ? - you're never to old to learn what an idiot you've been.

    p.s.

KJ's version is a simple and sweet instrumental (from his 'Mourning of a Star' LP.)

  • anyone interest in love will probably be interested in what Joni says about it.

  • I remember playing this LP to death. I LOVE HER!

  • The best and most honest love song I have ever heard and I have enjoyed since it was released on Blue 37 or so years ago! Thanks for the post. mikeking88@comcast.net

  • I wanna have fun, I wanna shine like the sun

I wanna be the one you want to see

Want to knit you a sweater, want to write you a love letter

  • I only have one word: AMAZING

  • love it my jones

  • listen to JAY BRANNAN's cover of this song!!!!!!!!! its so good aswell!!!!!

  • @arsrin I've check out everybody's cover of this song on youtube' including Jay's and their all weak in comparison. One guy makes his version sound like a cowboy song.

  • @arsrin Actually the best cover of this on youtube is Judy Kuhn's jazzy version.

  • loves me some joni!!!!!

  • amazing, i love this

  • she plays the mountain dulcimer on this song. She was my inspiration for picking up the instrument in 1973

  • One of her best songs ever. And, a fine performance is captured here.

  • one of her greatest songs.

  • I've just recently started listening to Joni Mitchell, and I am pleasantly suprised. The way some people deride her music led me to believe it was something altogether different. This is terrific.

  • the only folks that might dis Joni feel threatend buy her genious talent or jealous, she is amazing

  • @levanyzzuf

    your bang on... shes amazing..xxxxxxxxxx

  • @levanyzzuf people deride her music? for real?!?! i can't understand. genuinely surprised. fools.

  • @SuperUkuleleGirl The way some people talk about it I came to think it was wimpy-gimpy hippy bullshit like so much other folk music from that period.

  • @levanyzzuf Joni Mitchell was the Queen of wimpy-gimpy hippy musi and she eserves some respect. all the rest were just trailing in her wake. if you want to hear ear shit, listen to Joan Biaz.

  • @SuperUkuleleGirl WTF???????????????

  • @Patty1857 which part?

  • Comment removed

  • @levanyzzuf I grew up in the era of her carear, but it was my early years as a child. my dad died and i got his dulcimer. i am searching to learn to play my Dulcimer, and come accrosed her music again, it is beautiful and full of feeling she is a great artist.

  • i love this song ,, 歌詞が特に好きです。

    THX!!! ;)

    ★===================

  • WOW!!

Amazing!! One of my favourite Joni songs - and what a lovely performance. As much as I like her 'younger' voice, I actually think in htis period it gained more expressivity, and she was a lot more rythmical too. This was patent on For the Roses already.

Joni, we love you, thank you for decades of music that even people my age (23) are thankful for.

(And It's such an honor to write the first comment on a Joni video!)
