C'mon, we all know that if your DF'd or DA'd NO ONE talks to you about ANYTHING, and if they saw you stranded on the side of the raod in the rain they'd drive right on by! If JW's feel that what they are doing is so righteous and in accord with the bible then just admit it already! If its right then whats the problem?? Why are we mincing words and dancing around the truth??!!
How can a man call a Elder site there and LIE his head off !!!!!!????. God choice people Lie!! He should be desfellowship for lie ing in a Court. WoW blow my mind!!. They will not look at you or say hey or hello when you are disfellowship or censor, They look someplace else if they know you are present. This is sick, Many time it happen to me Supermarket,Store Park, at the Hall, Gods people lieing?? I wonder what the out come was.
After 5 years of leaving I look back and I cant believe I used to swallow this crap and defend it so much. Utter nonsense. Dont get angry at people like this.. they are waisting their life, their whole life.
I personally know this Elder. I worked for him for over 6 years in SLC. He was an in-your-face arrogant person who does not practice what he preaches. he is mincing words, "custody packet"... basically is printed information made available at any level throughout JWs to assist in custody trials on how parents and children can prepare. I would have been ideal if he could find printed excerpts online and ask the elder to say if any of that looked familiar to him.

I have only watched the 1st 4 minutes of this video and this PO is pointblank outright lying. Disfellowshpping affects individual family members. @LovingScrubbies Thats what I wanted to know. Is this real or staged? I'm asking because this is showing different angles like a movie is shot. I shoot movies so I know. But in most courtrooms, unless it's a politician or public figure on trial, it is shot with one camera from one point of view.
@LovingScrubbies The other thing is that when the camera angle changes, the time code generator is the same on each camera. What are the chances of that? It's almost as if the TCG was added after the clips were cut together. I'm just sayin'!
1440 Elder Johnson equates one having a relationship with the Creator with being part of his congregation. The attorney slips up in not noticing and persuing this point.
-
2200 Did Elder Johnson liken having a Christmas tree with frequenting
prostitutes??? Huh?! OMG Why didn't the other attorney persue this? It certainlty goes to the issue of soundness of judgement.
It's from the New World Translation of 1 Corinthians 7:3: "Let the husband render to his wife [her] due; but let the wife also do likewise to [her] husband."
"disfellowshiping is an act of discipline set by the scriptures, but it is agonizing to the haughty ones, in fact it is a loving provision for the humble ones."
I was married to a JW. Her being disfellowshipped was certainly anything but a 'loving provision.' She was nearly never able to talk to her mother or brother and was always treated like dirt by them, which caused her to cry and feel constantly depressed. I've heard of many others treated the same way, as well.
"If you can't explain it simple, you don't understand it well enough..." - Einstein... And this man just keep on babbling... Kind of scary, kind of entertaining in an ironic way, but still, there is no good or bad information, there's just what you do with it...
This same message has been repeated since Johnson perjured himself, in the March 2002, March 2003, March 2004, July 2005, July 2006, February 2007, and January 2008 issues of Our Kingdom Ministry.
There is absolutely no way Johnson was unaware of this information. Note the emphasis laid on the instruction only JW elders are allowed to request this packet. How could a supervisor of elders in multiple Kingdom Halls possibly be unaware of a special packet which only elders are allowed to order?

what!!!They always said that you cannot speak to family if one lives outside of the home only on business matters or if the person is sick.and they said if the family member lives with you then you have no choice but to speak with them but only as much as necessary. It's totally a contradiction.
@19:46 " We do not have Titles" ......THAT IS A BUNCH OF BULLS@#T!!!! ....Publisher, Pioneer, Ministerial Servant, Elder , Presiding Overseer, Circuit Overseer, District Overseer, Governing Body , Bethelite, Special Pioneers, Auxilliary PIoneer, Watchtower Conductor....oh ...and President ( Don Adams) . WBTS theocratic Warfare at its best !
All I got from this is that the so called " Elder " was coached and prepared from the Watchtower corporation and the attorney representing the Father. He immediately has material to defend the Watchtower and its teaching...but when the attorney representing the Mother , he immediately gets into his defensive mode " is this (documents) from an Apostate website?" . I love this video .....go to WATCHTOWER UNCENSORED on facebook . Great up to date material.
These people are so screwed. No wonder scripture warns us to not even let them into our homes. Any organization who belittles and dishonors Jesus is of satan.
(2 John 1:10-11) "If anyone comes to you and does not teach the truth about Christ, don’t invite that person into your home or give any kind of encouragement. Anyone who encourages such people becomes a partner in their evil work."
When my Jehovah's Witness mother died in 1992 I did not know she had passed away until it came up in the social security database in 1993.I was completely cut off and treated as DEAD all because I was disfellowshipped for leaving JW and becoming a born again Christian.
I was not allowed to comfort my own mother in her last days, even though I was the family anchor, with the most money, most energy who always took care of my clan.
Scientologists declare their outcasts "suppressive persons."
Another Scientology policy - called "disconnection" - forbids Scientologists from interacting with a suppressive person. No calls, no letters, no contact.
An SP is a pariah. Anyone who communicates with an SP risks being branded an SP himself. Jehovah's Witnesses disfellowshiped person (DF) is exactly the same as Scientology suppressed person (SP)

disfellowshiping is an action taken from the scriptures to cut SPIRITUAL TIES ( not natural ties as mother, father, brothers) after several judicial hearings, unrepentant ones are not part of Jehovah's fold anymore.. but if they turn their ways and ask for God's mercy they will be taken back to the congregation. disfellowshiping is an act of discipline set by the scriptures, but it is agonizing to the haughty ones, in fact it is a loving provision for the humble ones.
@rabinnaviim2010 you might want to mean that is a loving provition to the "brain wash" ones. So do you really think is scriptual to be disfollowship? oh you meant the farisee. used to do that for exemple John 9:22 who wanted expel people?or the juditial hearing the apostol had in act 4:15 they were told to got out of the room cause they were going to make a decition? read the context 2 John is talking about one the preach other crihst not bad conduct,1Cor 51 original text say what they did..
Most of it was all pretty tame and reasonable, until 24 minutes in, and then he says:
"If I (any dis-fellowshipped JW) want to be one of Jehovah's witnesses and enjoy a relationship with my creator...".
I think this speaks to the heart of the matter that most critics focus on, regarding the JW mindset.
Can't we have a good relationship with our creator without The Society having to OK it first? Can they REALLY stand between us and God, if we don't follow their rules? That's up to us.
This Elder lies thru a twist of truth. I was raised JW and I know that the congregations are indeed taught not to associate and to disect themselves from the fallen or disfellowshiped ones out of fear that they too fall to the same fate from the organization. It is made very clear that the elders are the ones who deal with punished ones, or in my case, the fallen. Its been 18 years since an elder knocked on my spiritual door and asked me back. He said they check on them once a year.
"Congregation is congregation, and family is family"??? BULL!!! In reality among JW's there is NO distinction! This is why in a JW family when a father is DF'd, he may no longer say prayer for the family. Or when a sibling is DF'd, they can no longer being included in a family Bible study. Even DF'd parents may not be invited to JW children's weddings. This religion tears famlies asunder.
I was baptized in 1979 after studying for (2) months, and remained a witness for around 18 years. I was disfellowshipped , divorced, and have been remarried to the love of my life for 12 years.
I have been completely shunned, and shut out of both my adult children's lives. I don't know either my son in law, or daughter in law, and never will (unless I go back to the witnesses). My wife swears she will never speak to the witnesses because of the way my kids have shunned me. Much pain!!!!!!!!
The definition for shun is as follows: 'avoid and stay away from deliberately; stay clear of
banish: expel from a community or group'.
Notice that he says 'we do not use the term 'shunning'' at the 10:15 mark. Amazing how they say they don't, but by the definition alone, that's exactly what they do when your disfellowshiped.
It's a religion that says one thing, but will ifluence you to do the opposite.
THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! There was nothing he could say! He had to yell "This is obviously apostate" as his only defense. That dont hold up in court buddy.
Disfellowship is a important part to protect the flock. Every religion has his own regulations. If we respect other religions beliefs why can't respect what in one time we belief? We are responsable for our actions. When we got baptize we know that if we do something wrong and do not regret we are going to be expel.
Helping the individual is number one as protecting the congregation is also number one priority. Disfellowship is important because protect the flock. Every religion has his own regulation and JW only follow what the Bible says. The Bible mention quit association with everyone who in a delivered way participate in something that the Bible condemn. We thank Jah for this measure.
Helping the individual is not number one!!! My elder told me protecting the congregation is number one!!! Which elder is lieing, mine or him!?! Why cant the elders just do away with disfellowship and do a rehab thing... or not mark one as disfellowshipped as far as shunning but allowing individuals use common sense! By not hanging out with ones they feel will stubble them! As far as ones that are stong people could help that lost sheep. The disfellowshipment causes ones to go further into sin!!
Well until they learn about the religion, then it all changes we realize that maybe this isn't the truth to began with and we don't have by all the bs the Watchtower feed us.
I forget the reasoning behind it but I remember asking that question when I was a JW and I was told that I wasn't allowed to swear on the bible but I would just have to promise to tell the truth.
At 3:15 onwards he is lying! When i was disfellowshipped the elders told me that i wasn't allowed to see my unborn son because his mother wasn't disfellowshipped. This is a total lie - he should be ashamed! Asshole!!!!!!!
if anybody without a preconceived ideas, or anythin, and actually listening to the witness being questioned. you'll see theres nothing twisted or brainwashed about anything he says. he's making perfect sense. just listen
Iraq is producing 2 1/2 million barrels of oil and rising. It could reach 6 million in a short time. If Iran also continues output, then the price of a barrel could drop dramatically. Therefore, in order to keep the price up, the US slaps Iran with sanctions to keep its oil off the market. Iraqi oil coming on the market, Iranian oil going off the market-the price stays up. Follow the money every time...
To people that say one has a choice to leave the jw org. How do u leave, with out loosing ur family and friends. If u disasociate u are worst then a sinner in the eyes of the congregation. I think there is a large number of people that don't beleive but have chosen to live a lie, because they have no choice!
Thanks for the vid. This overseer Has obously done this before. He is an expert at evading the questions and goes back to every case is differrent. I think a bit more knowlagr from the lawyers on the subject would have help on getting to the truth. Do jw practice shunning or "disfelloshing"? From experience we all know the answer. O friend of mine recently had to leave his job because his coworker got disfellowshipped, he was told by the elders not to say even a 'hello'

Her disfellowshipment is also a consecuence of the behavior she has choosen. She doesn't want to be undisfelloshipped because she would have to make some changes in her lifestyle and she does'nt join to any other religion because, actually, she is in her comfort zone, she likes to appear like a victim blaming others for her sufferings. Face the facts, every second you make choices and choices have concecuences, it's up to you to accept it or not. It's a matter of ATTITUDE.

I don't want to hurt anyone feelings. Each situation is unique, Mrs. Martinez knows she lost the custody of her children due to her behavior, it was the decision of the court not JW's, she was never forced to remain in that religion, she's always been free to choose what she wants to do with her life, so she has to asume the consecuences of her decisions and don't blame others..
the congregation looks upon the disfellowedshiped as evil, believe me i see the way they look at me when i got to the meetings, oh but before they would always call me asking for favors when i was in good standing
i just got disfellowedship 3 months ago i am now 25 years old. I got disfelowedship for having a worldly girlfriend, who go pregnant, long story short, i repent but they said i needed to be disfellowedship, the baby is not even mine, now i am shut out of my friends and alot of my family because they see me as a worldly person, i feel like crap I dont think got approves of this disfellowship,
@thekeystone74 i was wondering how you became an elder. he is not avoiding the questions.. well as you knew there are questions to shun the truth to stand out. and this elder trying to make it sure that the publications presented are accurately taken from the publications not the apostates distorted copies from the apostates
@rabinnaviim2010 i tought when we have a talk you can us copies and they are the same info, I dont thing it would change it , still apostate copy or original coming from the apostate who left advantise, C.T.R was an for &years tied with this religion I wonder who baptized him, was he baptized with the advintise? So he quite the religion to make his own , how is that view today in the organizatio? or the Light got briter and they allowed people to started a new religion as C.T.R did?
25 years as a elder, he doesnt have a clue, what he is talking about disfellowshipping is shunning the congregation no longer talks to you, you are cut off from the congregation, he doesnt know the difference

I am a disf... But I go to the meetings every week, I go becouse I want to show to Jehovah our lovely creator that I am repented for the thing that I did, and a couple of weeks the elders will come to meet me to see if I can be reinstated, I really want to serve Jehovah now with all my heart!
ATTENTION: Steve Klemetti is the most prolific JW poster TROLL with about 20 sock-puppet user names Steve Klemetti is a Jehovah's Witnesses troll who is APOSTATE to the Watchtower say's JW don't need the Watchtower society.
Steve Klemetti is a classic scary JW psychopath

This makes much more sense, totally contradicts all the cry babies here on youtube hahahaha thanks for posting. and all the thimbs up calling him a liar, has to be the crybabies just mentioned.
If you do a search for "Preparing for Child Custody Cases," you can find a full PDF version of, along with a letter from the Watchtower Organization regarding, the book that this Elder lies and says doesn't exist at around 17:30.
Jesus Christ said.." you clean the out side of the cup but the is side..........." God looks for the lost sheep, he forgives, God desires mercy not judgement, how can a group of people regardless of how much time studying a "religion" JUDGE another brother? JW do not know who Jesus Christ is nor believe whats in hime.....may god have mercy on there soul...
No you are wrong. Jehova Witnesses are innocent people ensnared in a cult. Do you realy thinik that the person knocking on your door has anything but your best intrests at heart? Don't hate them pity them. Do your best to save them from the cult they are trapped in. heres a way of looking at it, What would jesus do? he didn't kill the possesed man he kicked out the demons that possesed him. Talk with tese people and try to help them. some one did it for me and now I am free.

i m also desfellowshiped but i dont see any lies here. what that man said it is totaly true. it will nice if you people give true coments..... not trying to be smart.
they also have this kind of money laundering they call it pyramid they take a lot of money from people but if you tace it you dont know who is the head,
For any active Jehovah's Witness that CANNOT see the thumb print of Joseph Rutherford on nearly every aspect of their religious life, is NOT aware of the history of the organization.
Notice this elder's insistence that the jargon of the Witnesses be used as opposed to terminology commonly accepted in society ("doctrine", "shun" i.e.)
It is ALL about word play and legalisms!!
The entire discussion of whether ANY organization should shun is in the realm of "Come on into the 21st century!"
If they did not lure people into this cult with deception by not mentioning this shunning then I would not have an issue with disfellowshipping. you join a group and you know the rules. and the word play and legalisms? makes you think that a group of lawyers formed this religion. they prey on the week like vultures.
just reread your coment and I finaly realized the problem with it. they are not allowed to look into asnything but the societies point of view on things. part of the brainwashing.
showed this to my mom who was disfellowshipped she laughed. she was DF'd about 30 years ago and still gets shunned by some reletives and any jw's that knew her. umm I call bullshit on this guy.

The family is not breaking the rule, people need to understand those rule are available in the book that anyone can read even if are not Jehovah witnesses. they only disfellowship you from the congragation not family. for more info just read what that book says instead of just debating. some people they dont really understand and they dont read, being a JW its continous learning that's why they are advised to attend meeting and read the publications.
lets see my mother is DF'd three of my sisters are DF'd, family doesn't shun? maybe in your little fantasy world but lets look at reality. of my mothers 10 brothers and sisters in the JW's only one has not shunned her. before the date of her being DF'd there was never a problem. brother inlaw same thing. I studied this crap even made it to MS when I finaly saw the division in families this organizeation caused.
If it wasn't so sad it'd be funny to see this nit-wit try to claim that literature from 1952 is "apostate". It shows how screwed up in the head people become when told not to think on their own.
One minute he claims the quotes were accurate in 1952. The next minute he claims the very same quotes were "apostate".
"Yes, in 1952 that was the truth. Today it's no longer the truth."
haha, i used to be a JW. not anymore and glad, but i don't know where you heard your stuff from. the elder is not lying, and although they are not advised to lie, and actually they are advised to tell the truth completely, they do in fact hold their faith above the law. they follow all laws unless it gets in the way of them being able to worship. so if there ever was a law against JWs coming to your door, they still would. and "Theocratic Warfare Strategy"... i've never heard of it.
Very true! Lying to a Jehovah's Witness Elder is encouraged. They call it "Theocratic Warfare Strategy". Anything to protect Jehovah's name. What I'd like to know is how they can put themselves above the law. If you or I lied in court, this would be a big no no. And there would be repurcusions.
Why is this so shocking? The organization encourage elders to lies, it is part of their theocratic warfare strategy. Lying in court, under oath, is no big deal to them. They are not even allowed to serve on a jury. They have no respect for anything but their cults rules and nonsense.
WHAT A STINKIN LIAR! I know many people who have lost contact with there families because they have been DFS. If an Elder started to celebrate Christmas he would be definately DFS immediately!
This man PERJURED himself.

How is a video such as this obtained? It's right in the courtroom.
LovingScrubbies 1 year ago 2
@LovingScrubbies Thats what I wanted to know. Is this real or staged? I'm asking because this is showing different angles like a movie is shot. I shoot movies so I know. But in most courtrooms, unless it's a politician or public figure on trial, it is shot with one camera from one point of view.
Jewelsheam 1 year ago
@Jewelsheam
It smells fishy.
LovingScrubbies 1 year ago
@LovingScrubbies The other thing is that when the camera angle changes, the time code generator is the same on each camera. What are the chances of that? It's almost as if the TCG was added after the clips were cut together. I'm just sayin'!

1440 Elder Johnson equates one having a relationship with the Creator with being part of his congregation. The attorney slips up in not noticing and persuing this point.

"The scriptures" however, have not changed while the meaning of "disfellowshipping" has.

I've listed some of the lies I was able to identify in the video:
He states family members expelled from JW congregations are not treated differently by the family.
He states JWs do not disdain disfellowshipped members or consider them all wicked and demonic.
He states JWs are allowed to speak to disfellowshipped members.

He states the WT did not publish a child custody brochure.
He states JWs say hello to disfellowshipped members they encounter.

Another Scientology policy - called "disconnection" - forbids Scientologists from interacting with a suppressive person. No calls, no letters, no contact.

disfellowshiping is an action taken from the scriptures to cut SPIRITUAL TIES ( not natural ties as mother, father, brothers) after several judicial hearings, unrepentant ones are not part of Jehovah's fold anymore.. but if they turn their ways and ask for God's mercy they will be taken back to the congregation. disfellowshiping is an act of discipline set by the scriptures, but it is agonizing to the haughty ones, in fact it is a loving provision for the humble ones.

He said they check on them once a year.
bluesugar1000 1 year ago 27

TrooperJane 2 years ago 7

He states JWs do not disdain disfellowshipped members or consider them all wicked and demonic.
He states JWs are allowed to speak to disfellowshipped members.
He states JWs do not use the word "shun" to describe DF/DA.
He states the WT did not publish a child custody brochure.
He states JWs say hello to disfellowshipped members they encounter.
TrooperJane 2 years ago 7
not hard to find the lies it's listing them all that will take a long time.

The entire discussion of whether ANY organization should shun is in the realm of "Come on into the 21st century!"
mrbarthoss 2 years ago 10
If they did not lure people into this cult with deception by not mentioning this shunning then I would not have an issue with disfellowshipping. you join a group and you know the rules. and the word play and legalisms? makes you think that a group of lawyers formed this religion. they prey on the week like vultures.
no4go2 2 years ago 8
just reread your coment and I finaly realized the problem with it. they are not allowed to look into asnything but the societies point of view on things. part of the brainwashing.
no4go2 2 years ago 4
You are so right about that go2. Still, it does make you wonder, doesn't it?
I can imagine some kind of clandestine conversation in field service on a Saturday morning, between our friend here and some inquisitive publisher:
"Psst,. Brother Johnson......ummm....happen to catch you on YouTube last night. Something about 100,000 views......."
Ah well. Such is the nature of hypocrisy!
mrbarthoss 2 years ago 4
showed this to my mom who was disfellowshipped she laughed. she was DF'd about 30 years ago and still gets shunned by some reletives and any jw's that knew her. umm I call bullshit on this guy.

The family is not breaking the rule, people need to understand those rule are available in the book that anyone can read even if are not Jehovah witnesses. they only disfellowship you from the congragation not family. for more info just read what that book says instead of just debating. some people they dont really understand and they dont read, being a JW its continous learning that's why they are advised to attend meeting and read the publications.
cjluvango 2 years ago
lets see my mother is DF'd three of my sisters are DF'd, family doesn't shun? maybe in your little fantasy world but lets look at reality. of my mothers 10 brothers and sisters in the JW's only one has not shunned her. before the date of her being DF'd there was never a problem. brother inlaw same thing. I studied this crap even made it to MS when I finaly saw the division in families this organizeation caused.

"Why is such a firm stand appropriate even today? Well, reflect on the severe cutting off mandated in Gods Law to Israel. "
Could someone please explain to these nitwits that Christians are no longer under the Mosaic law?
propagandatechniques 3 years ago 10
Yes, but that doesn't excuse the nit-wit on the stand for claiming the information in 1952 was accurate in 1952 but yet "apostate" today.
propagandatechniques 3 years ago 8
If it wasn't so sad it'd be funny to see this nit-wit try to claim that literature from 1952 is "apostate". It shows how screwed up in the head people become when told not to think on their own.
One minute he claims the quotes were accurate in 1952. The next minute he claims the very same quotes were "apostate".
"Yes, in 1952 that was the truth. Today it's no longer the truth."
Um.... okaaaay!

haha, i used to be a JW. not anymore and glad, but i don't know where you heard your stuff from. the elder is not lying, and although they are not advised to lie, and actually they are advised to tell the truth completely, they do in fact hold their faith above the law. they follow all laws unless it gets in the way of them being able to worship. so if there ever was a law against JWs coming to your door, they still would. and "Theocratic Warfare Strategy"... i've never heard of it.
cheerizero 3 years ago
Very true! Lying to a Jehovah's Witness Elder is encouraged. They call it "Theocratic Warfare Strategy". Anything to protect Jehovah's name. What I'd like to know is how they can put themselves above the law. If you or I lied in court, this would be a big no no. And there would be repurcusions.
floydiousdcco 3 years ago 13
Why is this so shocking? The organization encourage elders to lies, it is part of their theocratic warfare strategy. Lying in court, under oath, is no big deal to them. They are not even allowed to serve on a jury. They have no respect for anything but their cults rules and nonsense.
MrsCTRussell 3 years ago 13
WHAT A STINKIN LIAR! I know many people who have lost contact with there families because they have been DFS. If an Elder started to celebrate Christmas he would be definately DFS immediately!
