@CurseOfOrion the odds are agaginst him aren,t they and the fact that the witch Kings armies control most of the ekven homeland, and he had possible curroupted the Shadow king, if the ending of the shadow king is anything to be judged. Calidor has a lot to beat,. but io hope you makes a good protaginist especially incoparrison to Malekith, who i still hold as the best of the elven protaginists

@CurseOfOrion Am its a good novel and i find the origins of the shadow king intriging, and i liked the character but to be quite frank, i prefered malekth, to him, but its a good book all the same, have to get the third obe now with Caledior

@CurseOfOrion Malekith was a great character and i felt sad at the end when he basically is fried trying to become the king, and i felt that the gfact that he was such a flawed character, who clearly wanted tpo be king, buit couldn,t and how instead he does all these great things, like establishing the elven colonies And forging a treaty with the drawfs. That was amazing but he stillwanted to be king, his ultimate flaw, and the cause of his downfall.

In the end i love this guy, he brilliant
