Thanks for the information Tim. I am really looking forward to attending both nights! Are there any spots you recommend hanging out at for the best view? I'm still kicking myself for only attending on Saturday night last year. Halloween is my favorite time of year!

I am looking forward to Halloween weekend with great anticipation!! Which night do you think will have the best attendance? Saturday night (10/29) or Halloween Night? I am planning to attend on both nights (as long as my friend's don't chicken out). Sixth Street on Halloween is amazing!! I can't wait!!

@rockphantom BOTH. Saturday night will be more of the "party night" and the 31st will draw the traditionalists as well as children (before 10). Same as last year.

Thanks for the information! To play it safe, I tend to leave Sixth Street by 11PM.

None of my friends were interested in going downtown last night, so I remained at home and called it an early night. There is no way in hell I'd go down to Sixth Street alone on Halloween. I'm looking forward to your 10/31 video. I'd like to see what I've unfortunately missed. Hopefully, next year I'll be able to hang out for a bit longer.

Nice footage. Had a blast on Sixth Street this past Saturday night! At what time did you film this footage? I left at 10:30 and don't recall it being too crowded. I guess I am getting too old to stay out all night. Looking forward to Halloween weekend 2011!

@rockphantom : Glad you like it. This is my small contribution to Austin every year. (The crowds really don't start until around 10pm or later...so, you may have missed a bit). Look for my Sunday night video later today! Whole different crowd of costumes and characters!
