I do not appreciate of the addition of the drum set to this piece. What is meant to be a sort of serene/profound piece is misinterpreted into something much shallower. However, his playing definitely makes much more sense here than in many of his other videos on youtube. Well done, your playing wasn't awful, just your taste...
Couldn't agree more. The arrangement is awful - the off-beat of the drum on the 3rd beat has absolutely nothing to do with the rhythmic conception of music from the Baroque. I think getting people accustomed to classical music should not mean sacrificing its character. However, David's popularizing classical music must be appreciated.
@kyuubicat5 Yes, he can in fact, he does like a native speaker. In one of his interviews, he mentioned that his mother is American- he's actually using his mother's maiden name, Garrett.

Cela n'empeche qu'il soit un bon violoniste!
