the extractor is sooo great. u can perfectly use the crapyest plant material and turn it into something with a woosh effect :)... I did it inside in a well ventilated room...and everything has worked fine! its a must have for everybody who wants to chill in a special way!!!

NEVER, EVER do this inside! Put some hot water in something larger than the pyrex dish the butane is in and take it outside to evaporate. You don't want to blow up your house to make a gram or 2 of BHO.

@lepirate3030 Use a coffee filter - when i first changed the filter i tried to just hold the filter in place - big mistake. just cut a filter that fits.

Just a tip, if you wanna get your wax bho goo whatever the kids are calling it now off your razor/scraper it is much easier to just put in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes as it will cause it harden up significantly and you can just pull it right off the blade and put it in your "storage container"

Just ground up 21g of some shwagg (outdoor) and ran it through the Honey Bee for the first time and it's pretty cool and turned my ditch into something worth smoking now for the rest... Lol

@GoofElJunglist Volume is not a big deal, if your using smaller cans just get a few more of them. The only thing you need to worry about is that the butane is ATLEAST triple refined! hope this helps

i did this with a homemade thc oil extractor andit sucks!!! the thc oil is not potent and no matter how long you wait to thebutane evaporate, when you smoke it it will always leave the UGLY butane gas smell.. GREAT FOR A HEADACHE!!!i

Just a few lovely little hints/tips - if you put your thumb(with glove on) over top of the hole where the 'tane cans nozzle fits, it will re-pressurize and help drain the extractor more thoroughly. also, while doing the hot water portion, it's easiest to get the oil out of the pyrex(which is the dish of choice as it can take the high and low temp changes..) is to not turn it so that the oil drizzles to the corner, but to leave it flat so it all evaps evenly. This makes it easy to scrape. Cheers.

@GrowItUp another little thing i do to get every tiny bit of oil is to get some king skins and while the oil is still runny just wipe it all up with them :p
