  • People forget that there was a lot more to Chic than dance-floor anthems. I haven't head this in years...I've got to go through that box of old cassettes in the basement and find the one I recorded this on!

  • NICE BASS RYTHM !!!!!!

  • No other group would have better been called CHIC. Just listen : groove and elegance. Timeless music.

  • This song makes love to your senses....takes you somewhere you don't want to leave. It's the best food you ever ate, the best drink you ever drank and the best love you ever made all in one.....beautiful.

  • Can you say "smooth" boys and girls?

  • I'm from Sao Paulo , love it thanks.

  • Chic are still Fantastic!

  • ARE YOU GUYS LISTENING TO THE BASS!!!!

  • @marylynnpage KILLER BASS LINE !!

  • This song relaxes me

  • Great homage to my city! <3 São Paulo!

  • Thanx for this; it brings in lots of good memories :-)

  • awe man, it ended.. this track should be 20mins long at least. what a perfect tune!

  • Great Song, just love the brazilian beats, It makes want to dance with my love, so sexy, great beat. Brings back memories of younger times. Thank you!!!!!!

  • I meant suites

  • I meant suiets

  • Thanks xyze13 for posting this cut.It brought back moments in time.I rememeber those suits that chic wore back then-they were all that.Don't forget-Richard Gere rocked those suites in "American Giggalo"too. Those days were trully the begining of the "chill out flava" that bubbled across America. In other words-if we or anyone else needs to chill...check this cut out.Oh yeah, and by the way...I'm 50 joints years old!Still chillin'.

  • @masoojz: Now that you mention it....whatever happened to the sharp way we used to dress? I'm 49 & distinctly recall the blazers, shirts, slacks & low pro italian shoes...Everyone in the club looked great. I went past a club late at night last week & saw tees, blues, tennis & baseball caps....Everyone looked totally identical. Man, is that tired or what ? Won't some individualized cool brother bring on the Black Apparel Renaissance?...we're going to regress to a loin cloth in 25 years. LOL

  • @btinsley1 i'm so glad you said this. i really miss the way guys used to dress. they looked like they cared what girls thought of them. men actually wore cologne (not axe), and they looked like men. i pretty much danced with every guy who asked me to because they went out of their way to look their best. hair was combed, facial hair was trimmed, teeth were brushed (not gilt). i'm scared of young guys today - most of them look like they're on their way to a home invasion.

  • @btinsley1 Man no doubt if you did not come to the club clean you were gonna be spending alot of time "on the wall" you were expected to dress like you cared. Those were the days I still remember my sisters on Saturday nioghts watching me get ready. "You really gonna wear that"? "No wonder you got no girl" "Ewwww too much cologne" I love them for that. lol I'm 51 in october and miss these days so much.

  • @btinsley1 Such a sad but true commentary. From my unscientific perspective, what happened? Hip-Hop culture happened. Go to any A-American neighborhood -save PG County and DeKalb County and you'll be hard pressed to find one men's shoe store, just one. But sneakers, jeans, and Tims? They proliferate. Like you, I come from a 70s/80s perspective. A pimp esthetic it may have been, but at least we were "clean" in our dress. Now? Thug culture/dress is the norm. (SIGH!!)

  • @dburley: Amen. If a bro fell into an Atlanta club wearing what i formerly described, he would show the thugmoes how to really attract women....

(then probably get robbed when he goes to his car)... Glad I came up in late 70s to mid 80s...things were a LOT different

  • One of my favorite jams by CHiC - Thank you for posting WOW

  • I haven't heard this song since I was 12. Had the album and played the heck out of this song

  • never heard this song before . on what album is it ?

  • This is on their self titled first album released in late 1977. It was also the B-side to Chic's first single "Dance, Dance, Dance".

  • This joint was and still is the shit. Just chillin' with friends or just home on a Sunday groovin.' This is a true classic family.
