For anyone to listen to this song and actually like rap and say Ross was "wasn't bad either" is overly infatuated with Nas's wordplay and lyricism. Seriously, as poignant as Nas lyrics hit, he lacks the emotional connection to be so lauded. Like it or not, Ross with his flow, voice, charisma, and ability to paint a cinematic story(not his-story) has him not only "going in" but actually arguably outdoing Nas.
