I have 11 of them, mostly males with legit wings but they won't chirp. It's frustrating because I have to do a science project on them and their chirping...

@rebelgrl777 Sometimes it takes a while for them to chirp. One time we bought 10 crickets & they barely chirped. Couple of days later they wouldn't be quiet and it would go on all day and all night. Give them some time and make sure you feed them and give them water. You can use a really shallow tupperware (that you don't mind throwing away) & put some rocks in there so the crickets won't drown. You can feed them lettuce and carrots. Something that doesn't rot easily like fruit.

@ginablackhawk You're welcome :) I bought 10 crickets last night and my bf didn't read all of my texts so after work he bought 15 more! It looks like a cricket farm but it's food for our southern alligator lizard.

@TheJulian122 Like train them to chirp? Haha Most of the time the crickets chirp all day. Sometimes we get lucky with females and they don't chirp like the males. It's loud. I can hear it when I walk up to my apt.
