  • Great idea, until you get to your first pot hole, when you get a face plant,'cos the small front wheel falls into the hole, pitching you off the seat back so control is lost. It has little advantage of a recumbant, ie cannot brace yourself between the seat & pedals to aid acceleration & your not lower down to reduce drag.So it does not give you the advantage of a diamond frame or the advantage of a real recumbant, but to those who know nothing,it looks fine & dandy.Hay so money in the bank 17 !

  • I disagree with all your statements regarding regular recumbent bikes (whichever version you consider regular). Ive commuted to work on both long wheel base, and short wheel base 'bents, and have no issues with stability, balance or control. Sounds like you are trying to invent a problem to solve with your design, and the problem does not exist. The only observable difference between your bike and a diamond frame is the better seat. A standard 'bent design like the Vrex SWB has you beat.

  • i did give u a 5 rating have fun

  • When it rains it usually gets windy too. With a roof ,you'll have a problem

  • or you could just suck it up and ride the bike in the rain, or buy a car

  • Will a 6' 7" man be able to ride this bike?

  • Cool concept! but how can you give a girl a ride home?

    Ltrz

  • she could sit on your lap or something, i dunno

  • Or your face...hmmm...

  • interesting concept, i bet it will be perfect within a year

  • I wouldnt put any money into it, rec´s have had 100yrs to get a piece of the market. still mostly enthusiasts use them.

  • Semi recumbent is more practical than fully recumbent. I hope the idea catches on.

  • Yea, the semi's are easier to get on and off of.

  • Not a very good design but 5 / 10 for trying , try harder

  • I'd love ta have one!

  • That is a damn good idea, and the roof would shield you from the sun, as well.

  • That is an interesting idea, but the video shows the bike with sidepull, not V brakes
