In 2005, at least 34 persons were killed in litter/debris caused accidents in Mississippi.
The MISS DOT fails to tell the public/citizens total amounts of litter volumes picked up along public roadways/properties. They'll attempt to charge a fee for this, unheard and illegal practice in most American states.
MS is STILL rated a WORST state for public spaces cleanliness in the 2011 American State Litter Scorecard. Kentucky rated #1 Worst in USA.
