  • I am thinking of joining the coast guard this year after highschool. Can anybody tell me the difference between an enlisted and an officer?

  • @dave451pr Officers are sort of the people "in charge" if you will, they outrank the enlisted and have attended college for 4 years at least, have gone through special training and meet other requirements, its kinda hard to explain.

  • to keep it consistant, you should have shown either collar devices, or sleeve insignia, not both. I realize non-rates have no collar device, but that could have been noted in the video. But good job taking the time to put this together.

  • command master chief is a position not a rank.

    E7 is Chief

    E8 is Senior Chief

    E9 is Master Chief

E10 is Master Chief or the Coast Guard

  • you don't have the Chief Warrant Officers.

  • those ranks are not wrong...they are all correct

  • some of these ranks are wrong

  • just to let you know, it says how to save a lofe, at the end of your movie

  • my pop is a retired O3, worked at USCG HQ... wrote the logistics manual... cant beleve three Admirals asked him to reconcider his retirement.. and my pops wishes he can go back in
