update, im buying a GT19.9 Suburban for $175 running and driving. heavy duty geared rear end, 3 speed hi/lo transaxle, and a 20hp Onan that will out work the p220g anyday. :)
I myself have bought a 1997 WH 520H and it needed a coil. and a mower deck, the morons that owned is welded the damn nuts to the spindles and the blades! but it was a CL find as well. for $300 i had to drive 2 hours to go get it, hydraulics are fast on it and responsive, they are very good tractors, and the engine holds steady around 20 psi oil pressure at idle hot,, looking for a 60 inch mower deck for it, Nice tractor man, dont let no one make you feel like it was a bad deal..
@pacificdrumma Hey asshole, wheel horses the best tractors ever made. When you find a 520h in mass fr less then $1500 thats running and works, you give me a call. Craftsman is a piece of shit. So youcan take your ss/16 and shove it. If you knew anything about good garden tractors you could talk, but you dont
wait a sec, you spend 900 on the tractor, and 375 on the cab right? So 1275 on a tractor, cab, plow, and wheel weights. I bought a Sears SS/16 with a 46" dozer blade, 40" snowblower, 42" mower deck, wheel weights, chains, AND a cab RUNNING for $450. Thats a 16hp Onan as well.
@pacificdrumma well bought im from mass where everything is expensive...the machine ws in perfect condition i bout a brand new cab came with a plow i traded that in for money and i also got the snowblower for 50 bucks and the machine itself came with a 62 inch deck
@disturbedrocka my SS/16 came from mass too. its a nice machine, dont get me wrong. I just wouldnt have payed that much and walked away thinking i did well
@pacificdrumma Hey ass hole, wheel horse is the best garden tractors around. When you find a 520h in mass for less then $1,500 that's running and everything works, you give me a call fuck head. Sears/Craftsman is a piece of shit tractor made by mtd, they have no high powered transmission like a wheel horse does, so you take your SS/16 and shove it up your ass. If you knew anything about good garden tractors you could talk, but you don't, so shove that up your ass, dick head.
@disturbedrocka dude, look at a 520H. Its a garden tractor, heavy frame, strong hydrostatic transmission, 20hp Onan P220G, and hydraulic lift. My SEARS (not pos craftsman) has a 16hp Onan (20hp Onan was available on another model), it also has a strong frame, 3 spd HI/LO transaxle (JUST LIKE WHEELHORSE) and manual lift. My SEARS was made by Roper, which made Sears suburbans from '66-'79. My SEARS cost less cause its older, and doesnt have hydraulic lift. I know a lot about these, cool off.
Its not made by MTD like the newer ones are, it has a 3/16" STEEL frame, and can handle all the attachments your 520H can, including a fully hydraulic, tractor-driven front end loader. If you look at something like a Wheel Horse C121 and a Sears SS12, you will see that they are designed the same. 12hp Cast iron engine, belt drive to a 3spd Hi/Lo tranny with a manual lift. Wheel Horse makes a nice tractor, and the 520H is a nice machine. My favorite is the 416-8 cause its geared.
and finally, if you think I dont know anything about old garden tractors, watch my videos. Im 15, and do all my own work, except mounting tires, since I dont have the tools to do that. Just watch them, and check it out.
@1320n8 Excuse him for a couple bad sentences and he got rid of that top because it actually had some faults in it and bought a brand new one and a big snowblower attatchment
@retireddom lay off wheel horse is one of the best tractors hands down i own 7 i have owned many other brands in cluding a sears suburban they are ok but there trans missions are junk the are made buy peerless or tecumseh and tecumseh are junk engines i would say wheel horses are better and he did get it for a good price. the only tractor out there better then a horse is a cub cadet
youre ann ass hole
