  • This is the only mouse I've ever seen as a stripper in ANY movie.

  • Hmm i kids movie with Show girls and Watson being slipped ruthies? lol

  • Action, Mystery, Furry Strip tease and Vincent Price.

    BEST. DISNEY MOVIE. EVER!!!

  • Watching this scene really makes me wonder what these people were thinking?!?!?!?!

  • I loved this movie so much as a kid... Actually watching this scene again makes me wonder how I didn't become a furry.

  • This might sound a bit weird, but HURDY GURDY BUGGLY BOO. This might also sound a bit weird, but I actually hated this scene when I was a kid, for some reason. Now, I find the MICE Girls (ohohoho, I'm so FUNNY!) rather adorable. God bless the '80s.

  • i miss the days when people were able to put this kind of thing into a kids movie and nobody will get worked up over it...

  • @yaklin104

    Same here!

  • What is the name of this movie?

  • @TheDollyTube The great mouse decective

  • 2:39

The background mice have turned to stone :)

  • Headcanon is that this is the Irene Adler of the Great Mouse Detective universe. Anyone else?

  • @Marichan221 Hmmm....

    HECK YES

  • @Marichan221 lol, my thoughts exactly. The Dominatrix.

  • I loved this song. Hadn't a clue it's so suggestive...but now I can totally see why my mind is perpetually in the gutter. Ha.

  • Omg I used love this movie. I miss it so much

  • Damn it /co/, I seen this already! Stop redirecting me to this thing!

  • Me as a child: When I grow up I want to be just like her! :3

    My mom: No you don't.

    Me: Yes I-

    Mom: No.

Me: >:T FINE I'll become a detective like Basil then.

Yet still after growing up I can sing some-what well but not deduce worth a crap :/

  • I remember seeing this in theaters like a hundred years ago.

  • Comment removed

  • I swear this song is about anal.

  • Comment removed

  • I still can't believe that they managed to slip this into a Disney flick, lol

  • this scene made a bunch of Furries.

  • No wonder my cousin Ryan loves this movie so much!

  • As a kid, it didn't occur to me the female mouse is a stripper at all. I just like the song (w/c is also hugely suggestive).

  • @YuffieDon not stripper...burlesque. A bit higher class

  • provocative much?

  • Ill never get over this x

  • Ill never get over this x

  • seriously, with characters like this is it any wonder the 80s and 90s produced the biggest amount of furry people?!

  • Drugs, smoking, alcohol, halfnaked women dancing in front of a male crowd that wants to get on the stage, followed by a barfight containing knives and guns.

Yep, those were the days when the creator's creativity wasn't imprisoned.

Today you can't show anything without some idiots flipping out about that children might take it wrong.

I saw and loved this movie as a kid and never thought smoking, taking drugs, fighting or whatever is cool because of it.

  • smoking and beer. the good old days of cartoons lol

  • Welp, looks like we finally found the source of all Furries. We all have Disney to thank for all people who are half into beastiality.

  • i dont think i ever actually watched this as a kid....

  • An entire generation of children saw this film...now we have the furry community...hmmm...

  • @ElJorro That's nothing; you know how many Kaa fans there are?

  • @ElJorro LOL Yeah, I think there´s a possible connection. Mind you, from my part, I blame the musical Cats.

  • They didn't sneak this past the radar, the radar overloaded and blew up.

  • @ItsSomeDeadGuy yeah fuck the radar.

  • This made me uncomfortable in theaters as a child.

  • You know, for KIDS!!

  • i always thought it was cute how all the guys calm down with her intro, and one even takes off his hat as a sign of respect.

and then she does a costume change XD

  • DAMN YOU FURRIES!

  • @Channel9001 now if the mouse were a human, you wouldn't be saying that. Of course, if she were lesbian, no fun for you either.

  • and then ppl ask where the furrys pop out!

  • this was the first time when i went like : is it weird that this is giving me a boner?

after growing up, i still find this realy easy to masturbate to!

  • I really don't see what's wrong.

  • why does disney keep pushing sex onto us?

    1:40

    oh yeah that's why...

  • Drugs, alcohol, sex...don't you just love Disney? XD

Seriously, though, there's a trope for this that I'm shocked they managed to play so straight.

  • O.O this was a disney sean!?

  • omg whatta hoe.

  • I love the guy at 0:20. "YUS!"

  • The strong voice doesn't match the cute little pretty mouse. D:

  • @mercurirgo And you're right, but that's just something hardwired into our brains. It can't be helped if it's a drawn mouse or a physical human, and the young subconscious probably cannot tell (or care to tell) the difference.

To them, the pleasant shape of full woman if attractive whether its on a cartoon mouse, CGI woman, or a live actress.

  • @TenWhoWereTaken To be totally honest I didn't know what was going on when I saw this at 9-years-old. I just knew the guy-mice really liked what was going on and it made them calm down.

Even now I see this entire scene as plot progression, with no truly intended message of sexuality.

But if your opinion differs from mine I'm not going to bite your head off because of it.

  • They say Disney could be alot better if it werent restricted to G, but...

  • Disney made me a furry 0_o

  • man those rats in the beginning were about to throw a hammer and a chair and a rocket O_O man they are crazy

  • @Dessdot It's a dart ;)

  • what movie is this from o_O

  • This definitely makes ruffies less of a serious issue! Sidenote: I hate that fucking bat

  • Dawson? DAWSON!

  • This makes me ... ever so slightly uncomfortable. Gratuitous mouse cleavage. I ... dunno.

  • back when kids cartoons/movies were relaxed about content. Good old disney

  • Why is Watson embarrased when she sings "just for you"?! She doesnt sing to HIM, she sings to a crowd. I wont know what he does if he sits at home and listens to concerts on the radio.

Radio: "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir?"

Him *fap fap fap fap fap*

  • they allow this to be on a little kid movie for 5 and 6 or youger and older but they wont let 2 guys on an anime to be together WTFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont understand it

  • This song makes me want to take off all my blues.

  • I love how drunkenness, not just of the bad guys, but one of the main characters, and cabaret/stripper performances were deemed ok for children in this movie. Rofl

  • That was beautiful.

  • Disney would so never allow a scene like this today...

Come to think of it there's so many scenes in this film disney would never allow today..

That's why this movie is awesome!

  • I loved this movie...this scene...somewhat changes that now that I'm older.

  • Well......I suppose this could explian why mice populate so fast :P

  • How did I miss this as a kid?! Oo'

    I miss the old disney....

  • Wolf whistle

  • What the actual fuck Disney.

  • I think about it and I can't believe that this was for children when I was younger. Actually, Disney's movies, and specially the old ones have a very mature humor and context. I in fact enjoy this more now than before.

  • amazing quality, thank you :33

  • "Here's a classic scene from Disney's greatest mouse movies. Enjoy!" lol

  • i LOVED this part of the movie as a kid. That being said, I was a messed up little kid but loved the movie anyways XD

  • those gir mice are SLUTS!

  • This is why mice reproduce so quickly.

  • @suicune690 them and bunnys do too

  • this is such high quality it's almost unsettling

  • @KHTimeProtecter Very few kids realize what this is all about.

  • @TaylorAGreene I do Im 12 LOL

This scene is always awkward when I was 9 I didnt get it but now Im like...perv place lol

  • @TaylorAGreene Oh I don't know. Most kids have an idea, albeit underdeveloped. Not certain what it is the eyes find irresistable but they can't turn away. More than a bit subliminal

  • @TaylorAGreene Really? You'd have to be a naive child to not have a vague idea what's going on. She whips off her skirt, bends over, shakes her ass and the guys go wild trying to grab her. The way the lyrics 'take off all my blues' are sung used to make 'blues' sound suspiciously like 'clothes' to my young ears.

I think the kids deserve more credit.

  • @TaylorAGreene I agree. Kids should be given more credit, but I think that they might only have an extremely vague notion of whats going on and most likely would completely miss the sexual undertones. And if they were like me when I was kid they probably didn't even pay attention the lyrics. All I saw was a pretty mouse that all the guys liked.

  • Is this scene really appropriate for a Disney children's movie?

  • @KHTimeProtecter Are you kidding me look at what is on Disney now? If you compare that to this then this one can be shown to kids under 5 by today's standards.

  • I remembered this song was compossed by Henry Mancini.

  • Presenting...The Common Slut's favorite song!

  • i haven't seen this movie. but i think this is the new most erotic scene i know of in animated disney movies.

  • still one of my favorite movies EVER

  • 0:05 - 0:12 I used to laugh so hard at that when I was a kid. I still do.

  • nC One dawson wahahaha

  • ahahaha what kind of piano is dat?

  • the frog at the start was a boss, still smiling while knives and bottles are thrown at him

  • It's a miracle, how animation can help you understand why things are they way they are. Before Cardcaptors, I never understood why there were lolis. And before this video, I never understood why there were furries.

  • Lousy bitch...THE FROG AND THE NEWT WERE AWESOME! BRING THEM BACK ON!

  • @Jobbeybob I fell sad for the newt

  • Lmao, I watched this when I was like 3 or 4. I would still let my kids watch it.

  • drinking, roofies, and strippers ftw

  • Oh, wait, what movie is this? I saw it before, yet somehow my parents repeatedly ban me from seeing it.

  • @Roo520 This is from The Great Mouse Dectetive, a Disney film from 1986. :)

  • oops i meant part

  • i love the past when he lifts up his eye patch!:) "OOOHH BRAVO!!!"

  • Health classes spend a lot of time on alcoholism and stuff like that, people drugging your drinks, but I learned that from this scene. 11 years before I even attended health.

  • Really this showed me that some places would be like that

of women in a place like that and your drinks have got drug in them

by the service if they were bad i mean

i really used to have a small crush on basil when i was 3 XD

  • 1:24

    Those faces....

  • Comment removed

  • Nice ending there

  • @23GoldenSilver No WAY. i used to have a crush on Basil!

  • How...how...how did this get past the censors?

  • ahahaha :) i remeber this! i was laughing at the last scene when he fallen down on the piano lol ahhh i was so cute back then.... what happened? :(

  • this is irrefutable proof that South Park was right, Disney is selling sex to our kids.

  • Furries Rejoice

  • WTF did I just watch.....

  • @thatfoxguy5112 Disney at it's best.

  • @tvkid9879

    Disney at it's greatest....(XD)

  • That said, I would state this would likely get a Y7 Rating or G rating on tv since younger audiences would be iffy. However, speaking from experience growing up as a kid in the 80s and 90s, I never suffered from this kind of media. I didn't turn into some ne'er do well, nor did I suffer psychologically from this sort of thing. I saw this movie when I was 5 and my parents bought us the tape for it. Want edgy? Go watch Betty Boop, which was available to be seen on Cartoon Network until around 1996

  • Its called Parent Service. It is pretty much their way of ensuring the parents don't get bored watching it. As TV Tropes put it so well, this is the stuff that separates a family movie/show from a kids' movie/show. Take a look at most stuff up until the 90s. Even the so called prudish times had it. Also, if you think this is new news, I suggest you reread fairy tales that we have grown up with. If you think this is bad, take a good look at what kids already know and learn at school or mass media

  • Me at 6 years old running around the house singing this, and my grandmother (not knowing this is a Disney song) being totally horrified..

  • 1:39 "Hey fellas! I'll take off all my blues!"

My friend: Umm,,, Isn't she only wearing blue?

    Me: ........0.o

  • @TwistedRising I thought she said "clothes"...

  • @TwistedRising I think she was referring to her clothes like bloomers, i'm not sure though

  • ....Whoa. I don't remember this from "The Great Mouse Detective." Guess I was too young to get the references.

  • This was before Disney realised they needed to make kids films like kids films

    Not adults

  • I think it's odd that so many Disney movies can create characters that are bordering on sexual, and people get s*** for loving those characters, yet no one stops and wonders "gee, why did Disney have such a 'thing' for furry characters?" His cartoons are rife with fetishes and such! Thank Eris Disney was so enamored with such themes, we'd never have Mickey Mouse :)

  • I can't believe how unbelievably..sexual..this song is..and in a child's movie of all things! xD No wonder my generation is so perverted.

  • i first watched this movie when i was around 3 years old, its been my favourite ever since and im now 22. they dont make em like they used to.

  • @ 0:18 I'm not the only one who hears the loud YES! in the background, right?

  • How the hell did this get into a kid's movie?!

  • this part traumatized me as a child. lol no but it did shock me just a little bit because she looked so sweet in the beginning

  • This was seriously my first boner growing up, which explains what's wrong with me.

  • @Pilaf1984 Yih Serious XD how old were you???

  • 0:17 who the hell brings a throwing axe to a bar? O_O

  • @Tan4500 a total badass

  • @Tan4500 Just incase you need to... use it...

  • @Tan4500

The Censor who lost his job for approving this.

  • @Tan4500 apparently, that guy

  • I always expect her line to be "I'll take off all my clothes.", instead of what she actually says.

  • This is my favourite Disney film.

    Ever

    x

  • The thing is... I never noticed this when I was younger. To me it was a dancing mouse - kids don't see it, only the parents do. Nothing wrong with showing this to a kid.

  • @GoldenGal42 Well, you might have thought nothing of it, but, when I watched it as a kid I understood that it was a good thing to take off my clothes and entertain men (despite what my parents told me) because it would make them like me above other things(a.k.a. dancing amphibians).

  • @dcthom51 That is a point. :/ I was never a kid to copy stuff of the box but... yeah, I know exactly what you mean.

  • wow sex, drinking, mice smoking cigars, drugs

naughty dirty Disney! this is awesome

  • How many parents do you think were shocked at this scene?

  • this is in amazing quality good job. thankyou :)

  • HOW IS THIS IS A CHILDREN'S MOVIE

I USED TO WATCH THIS WHEN I WAS FIVE

  • Muurrrr

  • 2:42 to 2:46 it's kinda funny that Fidget got his peg leg stuck in that hole. X)

  • anyone who wants to fuck ths mouse is sick. Her voice is way too low and she acts like a whore

  • @Thanquol180 i'm lesbian and a furry. >:3

  • @crystalclearwolf i wish i was one of those

  • @Thanquol180 well you know anyone can be a furry if they want to, it's more of a mindset than anything else. But unfortunately you need to not have a dick to be a lesbian

  • @Thanquol180 1. What's wrong with altos?

    2. She's a burlesque dancer. Not a whore.

  • @sahkah2 the mouse could at least play hard to get. She just STRIPS in front of everyone. She has issues, and if I were going to start a family, I would not go for an oversexed mouse

  • @Thanquol180 She's a burlesque dancer. Stripping was part of the job description. Sex generally wasn't.

  • @sahkah2 oh. maybe she's just not my type of mouse.

  • Dawson, get a hold of yourself!

  • When I was a kid, this was one of my favorite scenes in this movie, I also had a huge crush on Basil. This movie was and is fantastic. And the music was just so much fun, and Vincent Prince as the villain, I mean forget about it!

  • Ah yes, the scene that created a million furries!

    <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • I understand it now.....

  • got to love this wholesome family entertainment

  • My favorite part in the movie was when they'd say Toby =]

    awesome dog name .

  • The reason i like old disney's perverted jokes and not new disney's perverted jokes is that the adult jokes in old disney were very....adult. They didn't do childish emphasis on the words and take up five seconds waiting for people to get the joke. Now disney pixar movies have to speak in weird voices just to let EVERYONE know there's a hidden meaning.

  • @Wisprsinthedrk Back then, the 'adult' themes were part of the story, but these days it's just abou being gross and perverted for the sake of it. Such a singer in this scene makes sense since it is a saloon, not a church music hall.

  • @TheNuharoo Exactly, couldn't have said it better.

  • Basil should really go mustachio, instead of using a fake.

  • Lmao, this scene is hilarious.
