I used to love Emma. She was such a riot!! I remember when she adopted that little boy Wendell, and together they hid away in a Warehouse. I also loved The Fashions that Chase & Lance wore, they were so GQ. Yet what I loved about Falcon Crest was that they used Hispanic Characters that weren't in subservient roles.  It's still very popular in The Latin World.

I remember watching this with my family as a young boy.

It was fun for all the wierd plot twists, though later I would find out this was typical of most soap operas.

The Chinaman was Chao Li Chi, who was the family butler/head chef. He also taught Lance The Martial Arts and helped Angela in her schemes when necessary. He also played Ming Na Wen's Father in The Joy Luck Club before she did ER.

Yes indeed she was in the 1984-1985 season-- she played herself & Angela a few times referred to her as...'Babylonia' by mistake. She was a brief forgetful love interest for Lance that year.

I think you're thinking of Linda Caproni, she married Cole and her father was a Baker who Lance threatened and blackmailed over of all things a Birthday Cake. She died in a Plane Crash when the family went to "bury" Julia.
