Hey, quick question. Does this DVD have Mahnke take you through drawing comic pages step-by-step so you can follow along with him at your drawing board, or is it just him drawing while he gives you a few tips? If the DVD contains detailed lessons you can work through, I'll definately buy it.

the whole dvd is almost 3 hrs of non-stop tips as he is actually going through an entire page and showing you why he is making the drawing choices that he is on that very page. :)

I love the work he did on the Mask, it's amazing how he was able to take crazy cartoon stuff and make it work in a more realisticly rendered strip.

doug mahnke is a phenominal artist. i got some of his early 2000 work for DC and they weren't that good to me, but there was a certain charm to his work that drew me to him. i recent picked up FINAL CRISIS and i have to say that he steals the show. his work blew me away. i hope someday i can make my figures shine like his, with that same level of elegance.

plus i hope he does more work with grant morrison in the future.
