Actually I went with the "hack with community tools that put official apple apps and app store apps to shame" option and haven't had a problem since. Great device...now. Can't wait until someone pries Android on it.
Mine just locked on the power off. It will not allow me to slide. I can receive incoming calls but can not answer. How did you fix yours ? I'm planning on letting the battery run down
