I found this so interesting - and I think that it would be nice for other people to understand a little more what she is saying, so I'm going to try translating just the parts where she is coaching the student. My Japanese isn't wonderful, so please excuse any errors!
2:35 - [watching student] You really take a breath yourself...Yes, that's it.
When you come out of the wings, before a solo or something, this isn't to do with Giselle, but, always, before you go out - [takes a deep breath]. Inhale, and then -.
2:50 - When you dance to the tempo of your breathing, it is quite different.
3:25 - The pose at the beginning - somehow, it's like your breathing has stopped [both laugh], it looks like you aren't taking a breath. And at this point, Giselle is very... she is so happy that she can dance. She was always saying, 'I want to dance', but she was told, 'your heart is weak, so you mustn't'. But now, finally, she has her mother's permission, and she has this happiness, this joy, like, 'I can dance!!'. Could you show that happiness a bit more?
3:50 - And, also, in this setting, Albrecht is over there [gestures to the corner]. So she is aware of him watching, and she is nervous and excited. She has met him - that feeling?
So there is that joy of being able to dance, and, also, that happiness that she has met him.
4:08 - So from the very first pose - [makes a gesture to suggest suppressed excitement]
4:20 - Use the torso more. [demonstrates the arms, and then the breathing.]
4:33 - Just there, it was like you weren't breathing.
4:53 - And next, the arabesque... [makes a ' going up' gesture with her arms]. Your breathing... Somehow, what you did, it's like, 'I'm trying to take a balance'. It's becoming a pose.
5:08 - It's not like that, it should be like - [demonstrates the arabesque, taking a quick breath, to show the excitement, face lighting up], like that.
6:48 - Your eyes, all the gazes - [to pianist] sorry!
[to student] All your gazes, all the time, they are like this...[looks vaguely]. Make your eye-lines more clear, more precise. [makes a 'looking' gesture]
7:07 - It doesn't matter where you look. Like, don't look like this... with your eyes not quite open. Focus on something. [student demontrates]
Yes, yes, yes!
7:20 - This one, where you look down, here as well, look more properly. Yes, yes.
Odd, I don't speak the language, nor do I dance professionally, but she is such a good instructor I could tell how much she wanted from the pupil dancer to breath with her movements and fell the music. It is one thing to do the steps, its another to perform them...
She did her last performance at the Royal Opera House last night (Cinderella). So sad that she is retiring, she will be a great loss to the ballet world.
wow her legs seem really long in this video, I wonder how tall is she.
Well, she's a very nice Giselle i had never seen her in this role and I'm quite impressed by her ability to handle many types of different roles with such a charm and beautiness.

1:42 - 2:15 - [student dances]
2:15 - "Like this - here, you take the position, and you draw a breath before - [she demonstrates the opening gestures]"
2:30 - "You take a breath... [student dances] ... Yes, yes, like that.

[student does the arabesque] UP!
5:21 - Mmm. There, it was like you were slipping forwards. It's more like - [demonstrates, intake of breath on the arabesque].
5:28 - You stand, and then you grow upwards.
[student demontrates] UP! Yes, yes, yes! Shall we do it with the music? From the beginning pose
5:39 - [student dances] You move your torso, and...
5:47 - You fell backwards, you fell backwards!
[to pianist] sorry!

5:49 - Again, again. You fell backwards, your weight went backwards onto your foot.
5:54 - [student does arabesque] On top!
Yes, yes, yes! But... more like, from the inside - [gestures upwards].
6:01 - [student demonstrates]
Ah, yes, yes. That one was beautiful. You went up, and then, from the inside, you kept going up.
6:11 - [to pianist] Okay, please.
6:17 - Inhale before the pose. [student dances]

これだけ物語性やキャラクターの心を体だけで伝えなければならないのですから、バレェダンサーには、身体能力は言うまでも無く、知識や心・感情の豊かさが必要不可欠なんでしょうね。

it was Miyako dancing Giselle that got me hooked on ballet (after seeing her Nutcracker on TV)

見逃したのでありがたいです。
踊りに色のついていない生徒さんが指導で変化していく様子が判るのでとても興味深いです。あえてそういう生徒さんを選んでいるのかもしれませんね。
