the 50 cal is only good for sniper use up to about one thousand yards but the .50 cal. gun is mainly used for taking out things like vehcicles. also akseli if u were to hunt with that thing, semi large game like deer moose etc would simply explode when u hit them with it large game like elphants for example might not explode th history of the .50 cal come from ww1 in wwI it was used as an anti tank wepon because tanks were lightly armored in wwI but in wwII tank s were already immune to the .50

they are shooting 50.cal rifle rounds into the side of the tanks armour penitrating the armor killing the personal inside and if they hit it right the tank will be rendored disabled

they are shooting .50BMG rounds into a tank. the projectiles penetrate the armor and kill the operators. if they hit the right spot it stops working.
even more rephrased: a bullet gets past the tank armor and kills the people inside. if you hit it in the right spot, it stops working.
