  • Saw these in Margate in 1964, an unbelievable stage act, excellent musicians great showmanship etc and afterwards meeting their fans.Clearly enjoying themselves totally.

We will never see their like again.

  • i was five when i first heard johnny kidd and the pirates they crowned our carnival queen in 1966 shakin all over was my first recollection of music, i love all kinds of music but the 60s was the best.

  • i remember my mom taking me to our local carnival must have been in 1966 and johnny kid and the pirates crowned the carnival queen, i loved shakin all over i was only five at the time but i've loved all kinds of music since. 60s music was great we used to get lots of groups playing at the town hall but i was'nt old enough to go, yes the 60s was without a doubt the best.

  • Throughout my time this is the 2nd most rarest 60's track i've heard from temperance seven pasadena.

  • Fabulous pop record with so much energy. Johnny Kidd made some great 45's, thanks for posting, really enjoyed this!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting!!!!

  • Was the eye patch just for effect or was it real?

  • Classic...and Mick Green? One of the greats!

  • Johnny Kidd and the Pirates were a band which disappeared nowadays, unfortunately, from the consciousness of many people and misjudged with it her skill available without doubt. This wonderful song is still today another example of the fact that one knew during the for a long time past years much better how to do music with heart than it is today the case. I am 42 and like the sound of the past, because he simply structures and still was honestly and handmade. Lots of love from Germany.

  • Played on same bill with him in Kiel. Unbelievable show. The crowd went wild. Colosal live sound

  • I thought 'Queen' would flop too! LOL

  • Classic!!!!

  • Thanks have not heard this for years but I remember it it was soo cool!! ThANKS!

  • @1stlagitana
