Sistema de elevação da lâminas por cabos. Quando arrebentava o cabo era de morrer para consertar. A transmissão é por embreagem, pois nesta época não havia conversor de torque. Motor aspirado. Compartimento do operador com espaço claustrofóbico, etc.
I have a 1960 D7 which is the next-generation of this unit. The one in the video has no "Johnson Bar" forward/reverse lever. Gotta shift it old school. It does run at low rpms too. Probably like 850 or 900. Mine screams along at 1200 and it's a lot faster than this one. Great vid!
Had a 1932 R4 given to me one time, But I didn't know what the heck I was going to do with it. I just left it where it sat. Probably still sitting there. It didn't run, and had been sitting a briar patch in this guys yard for probably 20 years. It was a gas engine on it though.
