If you notice closely, in the FMV, his hair matches it's original look by just a little. It's a hard thing to notice though, but his bangs prop up more than they did when he was Grunt Cloud/Advent Cloud.
But, they never did hint at how his armor bits changed...

Yay, he finally said my favorite REDEMPTION line! ((Which also happens to be the one I think fits Genesis the best.)) I'll flap my broken wings and erase it all someday, you'll see. Elderblackpuddin is an amazing Genesis.
