@faridjabba well u see things more clearly as they really are without the cloud of emotions that conflicts and alters your perception of the world. U also have a sort of magical experience with your imagination running wild and free its like being a child again. So with the walls down and your mood and imagination lifted u start experience the world the way it was intended. It also makes u real, all the fakeness and bullshit u have worked up into ur personality is absolved with lsd.
@faridjabba also which i didnt mention is that it can cause extreme anxiety in certain people such as myself. After about 4 hours of bliss i started to comedown and went straight to hell, with the worst feelings of fear, dread, and terror, i have ever experienced, that lasted for about half a day.I thought i was dieing and going crazy. I do have some mental disorders though such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar.
Thx to this man, the dominatorculture( as T. Mckenna calls it) shook like an earthquake. LSD was the last substance to show us there are other ways to live in a "culture". At 2:09 in this video it sounds like Albert says the word "Bitchin'" . That makes me laugh, 'cause it's ironic that he says that word since that was exactly the word I used to describe acid way back in '72 and yes indeed acid back then was a very bitchin' experience...I imagine it still is quite a bitchin' trip.
Imagine the perpetual possibilities if Einstein wouldn't ingested LSD. He was already capable of psychedelic meditation and transcending consciousness to discover novel theories, with a little boost like LSD he could potentially have had infinite inspiration for configuring the methods in which our universe truly operates.
If it were legal, i'd take LSD. The law needs to realize that the drug is not the problem, it is the person taking it. If the person hasn't raped, theived, killed, offended, etc. than the LSD user should not go to jail because the LSD usage should not make you a convict. Amercia has a dumb ass government
Amazing. This sounds very close to Arthur Schopenhauer idea (taken from the philosophy of Immanuel Kant). When Hofmann says you need an subject and an object together, that Schopenhauer. He probably read alot of philosophy as a young man. Shopenhauer even started his book with the line that the world is only a representation in my head. LSD then is a tool to get to the Kantian unknowable Ding an sich. Great stuff.

"Life is just an illusion that our mind creats..."

@elmercuriodeinternet those channels... i think you can call them receptors. by adjusting them differently (DMT -> sigma1, 5-HT2; LSD -> all dopaminergic and adrenergic receptors + 5-HT receptors; Mescaline -> 5-ht2).

But he won't because that's to the governement Hoffmen was a criminal. They want to keep us from thinking outside their power. It's a dictatorship and that's why hallusinogens are illigal.
good question. i tried to think of the mind as the spectator, but im not sure if our consciousness is the same as our mind in certain cases. but a very good question :)

This is corroborated by the 1500 year old Upanishads of India. The Atman, who we really are is the substratum while thoughts create the universe. More modern self realizers like Ramana Maharshi also concur that the world is created by thought. LSD only gives temporary insight. It is heavily influenced by set and setting. Read Be Here Now by Ram Dass or Maharshi to create positive space.

are you impling that LSD is a gateway for the creation of the universe, because if so you should read a little bit about the side effects of doing so. You illetrated bastard.
dude no need to get nasty!! obviosly ur a geek who sits on their comp all day.. while angienic1 is doing something.. experiencing the world in a different way. Who gives a shit if he thinks a bit differently to you
Funny how you said illiterate and didn't use it in the right context. Malapropism maybe? Also quite funny how it actually means a person can't read or write and you spelled it incorrectly. Have you actually researched LSD? There are no known physical problems associated with LSD. What's more is this guy actually discovered it so I'm fairly confident he wouldn't have to do research on it. I suggest next time you want to make a comment like this you do the research first, you illiterate bastard.

But he won't because that's to the governement Hoffmen was a criminal. They want to keep us from thinking outside their power. It's a dictatorship and that's why hallusinogens are illigal.

If our consciousness is the tv screen who is the spectator?
Eradan83 4 years ago
good question. i tried to think of the mind as the spectator, but im not sure if our consciousness is the same as our mind in certain cases. but a very good question :)

You illetrated bastard.
dreambeaber 4 years ago
dude no need to get nasty!! obviosly ur a geek who sits on their comp all day.. while angienic1 is doing something.. experiencing the world in a different way. Who gives a shit if he thinks a bit differently to you
lutzej 4 years ago
Funny how you said illiterate and didn't use it in the right context. Malapropism maybe? Also quite funny how it actually means a person can't read or write and you spelled it incorrectly. Have you actually researched LSD? There are no known physical problems associated with LSD. What's more is this guy actually discovered it so I'm fairly confident he wouldn't have to do research on it. I suggest next time you want to make a comment like this you do the research first, you illiterate bastard.
