Mob hit men, drug traffickers, terrorists, serial killers and rapists don't get this much. The only reason she got it so harsh was because of the videos, that alone creates 15-20 more felony charges.
I agree with the first part of your statement. I disagree with the treatment part. I honestly don't believe a pedophile can be treated. There have been a ton of studies and most treatment of them do no good what so ever. I believe that it is an illness for which there is no "cure".
I agree that most pedophiles, according to many studies, are not able to be fully rehabilitated. Even so, I believe there can be special circumstances where treatment could work, but being I have no details on this case or her history I cannot say if it could work either way. As for the 125 years, it's just totally excessive, a much lighter sentence like 15-20 with some type of treatment during incarceration and lifetime probation would of been more of a appropriate sentence.

I agree with you Alex, people are replying with emotions as the judge did, and not with common sense. 125 years is a ridiculous sentence. Mob hit men, drug traffickers, terrorists, serial killers and rapists don't get this much. She performed sexual acts on very young children, absolutely disgusting, but a 20 year sentence along with lifetime parole and treatment would of been fair. The only reason she got it so harsh was because of the videos, that alone creates 15-20 more felony charges.

I agree with the first part of your statement. I disagree with the treatment part. I honestly don't believe a pedophile can be treated. There have been a ton of studies and most treatment of them do no good what so ever. I believe that it is an illness for which there is no "cure".

I agree that most pedophiles, according to many studies, are not able to be fully rehabilitated. Even so, I believe there can be special circumstances where treatment could work, but being I have no details on this case or her history I cannot say if it could work either way. As for the 125 years, it's just totally excessive, a much lighter sentence like 15-20 with some type of treatment during incarceration and lifetime probation would of been more of a appropriate sentence.
