  • Great ad for Messages on Hold! Shit man, if you plan on getting a Zonda for next year and driving off a cliff, I reckon you'd get sponsor dollars up the wahzoo...

  • it must be hard to put a kitchen in that car.

  • are you sure it wasn't the female that crashed the car?

  • I like the part with "Sorry"

  • Starting at 00:5 seconds into the clip, you can see the yellow warning sign on the left side of the road indicating that the road will curve to the left. The navigator did a great job. Glad they survived a rough landing.

  • Wow first time seeing someone FAIL and then explained exactly how he failed it like a professional on camera... this man deserves a reward

    SORRY!

*Big firey explosion and death. At least he said sorry first.

  • Want I want to know is why the co-driver was not in the kitchen getting the driver a sandwich. Its all gong to hell in a handbasket.

  • Amazing driving nonetheless in the full stage. Glad to see you guys aren't hurt!

  • AND I THOUGHT.. SHIT HE"S GONE

  • glad to know both of you are okay... wow that had potential to be really really bad.

  • Uh, you should always have your hands INSIDE the car. ESPECIALLY in a race car that is bound to crash one way or another.

  • To Women,

Shut your trap when the man is driving.

  • @ConceptVBS sorry in mid air lol

  • @ConceptVBS your a fuckwit... if it wasnt for her calling the pace notes they wouldnt have got that far in trhe stage.. get a life retard n thnk b4 you comment.. lets see you do a better job

  • aaaw that women have so sweet voice ^_^

  • Haha, keep hitting 3!

  • @cwein728

    lol

  • Very late call by co-driver. So lucky the consequences weren't worse, and incidents like this highlight the importance of getting co-drivers for high speed noted events that have considerable pace note experience. The co-drivers arms flailing about also demonstrate probable inexperience in how to handle situations when things go wrong Just glad all OK, which is due to the driver being so good, experienced and calm under pressure. A lesser driver and it would have be likely MUCH worse.

  • way to control the situation. nice.

  • "sorry!"

  • I'm just amazed how polite and caring the driver was!! Apologized right away and immediately made sure the co-driver was alright. That's a real man.

  • "Yup yup yup" is female code for "Get your hand off my thigh you bastard."

  • Do you guys not have HANS devices? The co-driver is lucky to walk away from that without a severe neck injury.

  • hahaha stupid evo, yep mitsubishi sucks

and good thing there were no trees likee he sayed

  • @ARi3LELSO5A lol they don't voted one of the best handleing cars in the world and pretty reliable i think you jealous because u cant afford one i guess ur a subi fan

  • You are supposed to NOT turn when going off road!!! If you turn you roll the car!

You were so lucky you didnt roll at the end!

But anyways, Im glad you are ok.

  • no wind there at all.

  • What a great example of the HANS device at work! Her head snapped forward in a frightening manner while the driver's stayed steady.

Thank you for the unfortunate reminder of the importance of head and neck support -- Glad you two are okay!

  • geez! glad everyone is ok!

  • "he cleared the first fence, second fence he through sideways, and the third bench he went through sideways..." :D

  • Glad you're alright Kym and Kirrilee. Hope to see you back next year

  • Are you sure the Messages on Hold logo on the dash is big enough? I think it should be bigger, get more in your way. Maybe stick it where the rearview mirror is next time?

  • Oh wow. Glad you're okay Kym. A tale to tell when you get back to Perth.

  • them duke boys are at it again...

  • Good to see you care about each other first before the car. Love all the apologies - the first one even before you hit the ground. Nice. Epitomises the camaraderie that is Targa. Good job. Come back next year (from a former Targa navigator).

  • On the contrary Dr PhatArtz, that's the beauty of Targa.

Now, I didn't spot you on the weekend, were you in early modern or late classic?

  • lol, panic much, hahaha!

I hate Targa, its too easy for rich doctors and lawyers and media types to get their hands on a fast car and suddenly think they are racing drivers!!

  • Oops, happens to us all.

Glad to see your both OK.

Now to get back out there

  • Kym, Caution boards mean something is coming at you! Ultimately you need to be reading the road as much as learning to use notes. With respect, you should only be using the notes as a 'safety note' at this stage not a 'pace note'. see my comments on an earlier you tube post of yours. However, you being a media tart, did mean I viewed your excellent web site.... Straighten it out and get back out there!

  • Goes to prove that money can buy you a car but not driving skills!

Stick to picking your nose with big fingers at the footy!

  • @bomberbloke everyone who races, crashes. it's not a case of 'if' but 'when', pull your head in. this was a great save.

  • On the contrary, looks like he was committed to the crest expecting there was 300 meters of straight road after it. As per the call. And when there wasn't, a great job keeping the car straight. How calm - still skidding on the grass and time to give his nav a reassuring pat on the knee. The Dukes of Hazard would be proud.

  • @bomberbloke lol drive better than u can i garentee that.... ur 27 so i guess u think your king shit at driving???

there people did very very well over all in targa so yes hey know how to drive

  • That turned out extremely well considering the possibilities! Everyone safe if a bit sore. I wear a Hans, but my Dad/Nav doesn't, and we crashed out this year too. Next year he WILL be wearing a Hans. I highly recommend it to all crew. Great job to keep straight Kym, if you had tried the corner ... God knows how many rolls you would have ended up with. Gutsy decision to hold on tight and cotrol the car.

  • Lucky escape guys. Glad you got out OK

  • Jeeez, you 2 are gonna be sore tomorrow!!! Glad to see you all got out ok.

  • bad luck Kym and Kirrilee. You guys were doing really well, and you certainly aren't the first to be caught out on Riana. You were pretty committed through there Kym! Hope to see you guys back again with the car rebuilt. And also, a big thank you for putting up the incar so quickly

  • WOW.

  • Woopsy :/ Bit of a bugger, you sounded not too bad though. Best of luck getting it all back together.

  • wow that was intense! you were really moving! glad ur both ok :)

  • So how straight's the chassis?
