The ending of this song is one of those segments that you wish they'd just play forever so you don't have to keep replaying the video from the last minute and onward. it's called volume pedaling...u play a note and then slowly raise the volume via either a pedal or your knob. he just happens to be doing it on a harmonic (which is what gives it that really cool hollow sound)

i'm sure there is some type of reverb or something, but i'm no expert at effects so I wouldn't know any specifics.

Mate he's using a fernandes sustainer guitar that has a sustainer pickup in the neck position. These pickups work the same as an ebow. They make the string constantly sustain.

The advantage these have over ebows are you hands are free to do other things like roll up the volume control as he is doing. If you watch arpeggi he plays a strat with a White pickup in the middle. That's also a sustainer pickup this aloes him to have a free hand to use the tremolo arm.
