You're looking at this from a purely "sport" aspect. You don't do yourself any justice by showing a video clip from human weapon where the show hosts only have a week of training and are training against seasoned vets who clearly are holding back. Take a look at Rue Boxe Francaise/Le Canne combative Savate; a completely different story.

I've seen countless times a fight in the ring or street where savate guy embarrassed Muay Thai fighter. MT isn't better because it has less rules.

A lot of champion of savate do K1 today. Ok there are a lot of contraints (like do use only the foot) but it's surely one of the most technic martial art. If you don't like it i can't nothing for you, too bad for you.

Check my other video where a savate fighter ha a go with the smaller bloke in the park with gear on. Hehehe Full mount on his ass. Ok he got a few punches in but full mount which means... A victory. Savate is perhaps the worst art i have ever seen. And i am somewhat experienced in this. 5 years Judo, 6 years Kung Fu, 2 years Karate and years of sparring and training at home. Savate has MANY flawed principals for example a move that can be done in 1 movement is done in 2 or 3 for savate. LOSS IMO
