dogs have been with man since near the beginning of humanity. from wolf to man's best friend, these animals have honestly become part of our lives and fill the holes in our hearts like no one else can. my own golden retriever has been a blessing to my brother, who suffers from autism himself, and i know that my other dog, a plain old mutt, has healed me as well. :) i can't wait until she's old enough to volunteer like this!
