I don't think of him as "Bill Oberst". I've seen this documentary so many times, I now think of him as General Sherman, and always will.

General Sherman fought the way war was meant to be fought. If you politicize a war, like leaders today have a habit of doing, you will always lose. As General Sherman stated, War is Hell... The harder you fight, the quicker it will end. It's how we won both World Wars. Fact!
