Ironic that Boyd is an Annihilationist, and advocates not being part of the world. While all the others were believers in Eternal Torment. It just shows once again that Eternal Torment creates evil people.
@judaemic - I wish it were that simple. There's something wrong with our species, that no amount of correct beliefs will change. Unless there's a change on the inside of you and I, we'll keep screwing up. More power to ya!
Thank God! I am a christian from Norway, and I was frightened when I saw all the mislead christians in all this documentary. They just trust in their pastors when they are actually standing preaching things that has NOTHING to what being a christian really is. I was glad in my heart when I saw someone like Boyd seperating Church and politics. It says in the Bible: " We are not of this world", and it also says that we are members of Gods kingdom, not the american one or the norwegian.
Hello, I am from Gods Kingdom to. This video is only an anti-monotesit religion to scare people and to cathegorise us as Extremist, to encourage people to be against us. This is all part of the masterplan of the devil for a oneworld religion. The have to separte us from the one that think there is more than one path to God. I send you this link if my explaination was not clear. God bless
Greg Boyd has it right. I've always suspected some of these so called religious right leaders are just taking advantage of the ignorant followers to sway vote for candidates who falsely claim to be God fearing Christians just to get elected. That's partly how Bush won and he does NOT act like a Christian. The wolves are leading the sheep these days. Just as a person has the freedom to NOT follow Christ... so should one have the freedom to profess their commitment to Him.
Ultraseculars? I hadn't heard that one. How can you be "ultra" secular? Because secular is defined as having nothing to do with the church... so you would just be secular or not, correct? Doesn't seem like this is an ideal that has varying degrees.
Also strange to hear that faith can be eradicated, especially by the ideas of someone else. I thought the running warcry was that faith can't be stopped...?
Another Christian who claims their faith is being persecuted, even though he's in a country originally founded on secular values where now the presidential candidates have to loudly and frequently proclaim their christian faith to get elected, and religiously influenced laws are constantly passed. When are you guys going to be happy?
Greg Boyd is one of the few public speaking Christians who is not afraid to counter the Fundamentalist Hypocracy.

Religion is the root of all evil.

@sage0857 True, and by contrast, a faithful abiding commitment and relationship with Jesus is the Heart of all good.

I'm a christian, a proper one that uses the brain God gave me. You rant like a lunatic and reason like a monkey.

Another blind gay that can't realise that his faith will be eradicated by the ultraseculars if he does not FIGHT to defend Christendom.

Greg Boyd has the right idea. I think he is a man of God more than Falwell and his cronies ever will be. God Bless you Pastor Boyd!
