  • This isn't rare dude.. it's on EVERY Sabotage copy..harder to hear on the cd's for some reason though. And it's not Bill singing..it's Ozzy.. and it's not Ozzy on the piano..it's Tony. Little known fact but Tony is actually a fuckin amazing piano player. There are vids right here on Youtube of him at home playing piano..

  • Hang on… Ozzy plays piano? I didn't know that…

  • @GuaranteedSanctuary He can't play anything.

  • Maybe it was suppose to say this song "Should be Rare" Because it is stupid

  • isnt this on sabotage

  • THE SONG IS ACTUALLY ABOUT A GUY WHO OPENED UP FOR THEM AT A SHOW AND ALL HE HAD WAS A JUG AND HE KILLED IT , THE AUDIENCE LOVED IT. AND BLACK SABBATH COULDN'T BELIEVE IT.......SO THEY MADE THIS GOOFY SONG AT THE END OF THIS ALBUM.........pretty funny.

  • @sugafeet cool...

  • My mom bought me this Sabotage 8 Track tape when this first came out. I was 12 or 13 and I've had a few LPs and Cds of Sabatoge and Blow on a Jug was only on my 8 Track tape. Rock on muthafukas!

  • fuck you !

  • @doom696mented You need to turn the volume way up to hear it. Trust me on this one.

  • Rare my fucking ass. This was on the original Sabotage album. We use to get fucking high out in the god damned woods listening to this, sabbath bloody sabbath, and Deep Purple in rock and fire ball every day during the summers and remember it well. Because when you thought the cassette was over you could barely make it out and kind of freaky but cool as shit.

rare my god damned ass, its always been there!

  • This is the most metal song ever.

  • Blow on a jug refers to Mungo Jerry who quite literally blew on a jug at Reading festival (I think) the previous year. Just messing about in the studio

  • it's not on my copy of sabotage, so it's rare enough.

  • im pretty sure this is at the end of the writ

  • Blow on the jug was on Sabotage after "The Writ" *__*

  • it is rare only true sabbath fans know about this,i forgot which album it was on,i havent heard this since i was 13!!!!

  • I remember this tune from the 70's. I was a teen then and I used to think he was singing "blow a joint". And yes, it was on the USA lp's in the 70's. I made a cool music video this past winter, if ya wanna see it click on my name.

  • bill ward

  • Not even medium rare... More like well done.

  • @CurtisTuch Not too many people under the age of fifty would own this on vinyl, thus rare. The world has moved on, old dude.

  • Its not rare all you had to do is turn your volume up really high its on the vinyl.

  • i remember this as a kid with my dads albums!

  • i have not heard this i had it own tape thanks

  • its not rare anymore but it was only available on the uk vinyls back in the day

thats why people say it is rare now

plus the fact no one seems to notice it

  • @SepticSlaughter

I noticed it right away... it's on the CD version, even here in the USA

  • @ikvsabre

yeah i meant when it originally came out it was only available in the uk lps

they later released it on cd

  • This was the spot where I picked up the needle on my record player.

  • Blow on a Jug? I always thought he was singing "be like me, I'm stoned on drugs" lol

  • yes, end of sabotage album.. actually sung by Bill Ward.....

  • NOT RARE.

  • WTF Yes end of sabatoge album. I dont think any of them are on it. I think its an old recording from the 20s or 30s.

  • Best thing ever recorded.

  • jesus this is just a throwaway bit of fun that was at the end of sabotage. nothing more. certainly not rare or 'fucking amazing'

  • Cool.

  • Boring

  • greatest song ever.

  • this is just the end the writ on sabotage album

  • This is rare there is only one sabbath song like this.

  • How can this be rare if it was on over a million albums?

  • this is fucking amazing,

why did sabbath hide this from us!

the full song should have made technical ecstacy,

it suits the mood to the album,.

  • drugs are bad

  • Thats the very very last song on Sabotage ad its not listed

  • I wonder if this is a tribute to the 13th Floor Elevators?

  • LOL

  • that was dissapointing. I want to hurt someone now!

  • that an ending to some of the songs

  • Its not rare anymore, i mean. Its easy to find.

  • lol true

  • @Reozren

I'm sure he meant rare as in a rare 'recording'

  • oh i love black sabbath sfm

  • Thats the very very last song on Sabotage ad its not listed

  • The first time i heard this on my Sabotage Cassette, I thought I was so cool. Whoever uploaded this ruined my life. Thanks.

  • yep, i first heard this on my sony personal tape deck at the end of the sabbotage album and wondered if it was a mistake , anyway brings back memories of pipes and hotknifes for me , i'm just glad its real and never imagined it :)

  • not "rare" but not many people have ever heard it... thx for posting

  • Sounds like Dr. Hook and the Medicene show!!!!

  • uh ha, well its not really rare, but as stated idk about a billion times here, some people may not have heard it. so if you have a copy already, then fantastic! but others maybe havent heard it and will enjoy listening to this clip

  • @guitarminion But you still have the word "rare" in the title. People can't read your explanations before clicking or even commenting in many cases. So it shouldn't say "rare". That's false advertising. It's a bonus cut on a very popular album (my favorite Sab rcord).

  • @guitarminion don't call it rare, it's that simple.

  • @guitarminion then change the name of your video so you won't have to keep saying it a billion times. simple. a billion people can't be wrong

  • any time, glad u enjoyed watching =)

  • your life cant be that precious

  • you never had a chance

    from the start

but thanks for playing our game

    better luck next time

    in your next life?

  • "blow on a jug" (Sabotage 1975)

  • luckily after reading the story of this,i'm glad ozzy's elvis faze was short!

  • this was Bill (on piano) and Ozzy screwing around in the studio and they decided to put it on the LP for some odd reason (mainly because the SABS could record themselves pissing in a toilet and it would sell) it would be great to hear normal volume on this but on the LP I think they wanted people to think there was a subliminal message there and take a CLOSER listen to what it (and the rest of their stuff) was. maybe they can do a new extended version of it :D

  • "I can nearly hear it. What was the story with Bills tights on that album?"

I brought this up with Bill about the tights, he said something like they where doing the photo shoot and he didn't have anything to wear so he put on his wifes tights. I'm waiting to see them in the Rock'n'Roll hall of fame 8D

  • I have a new video:

"Mythology live (Iommi & Ward - pre Black Sabbath)"

  • Thanks for posting this video

  • ending of sabotage

  • Dude i Helped them write this song yo !

  • what song is this supposed to be after???????

  • its after the wirt, which is the last song on sabotage.

  • i had the casette tape of sabotage back in the 80's i remember that weird piano jam at the very end of the tape lol but was never titled blow the jug how interesting.

  • @hawk919 Black Sabbath's bus broke down somewhere in WV... (I'm from there) but they went to a stupid bluegrass festival.)

  • hahaha shit is great!!!!!!!!!

  • Could have sworn I was walking into a prank flash.

  • lol

  • Is this the hidden song of the album.

  • yep

  • Now come on, get to know your albums first...

  • wut? u dont think this is on sabotage? dude the writ is on sabotage dont belive me go look it up

  • Exactly, I meant that for all of those who didn't know it's on Sabotage.

  • Exactly man, what I meant is that there's people who didn't know this is on Sabotage!

  • and then there ARE those of us who knew it was on there long before most of you were even born!

  • I can nearly hear it. What was the story with Bills tights on that album?

  • lol idk man

  • I remember hearing that for the first time at the end of the album. I thought it was a mistake in the pressing.

I think I have done blow off a jug before.

    ha.

Glad I don't even like the junk these days.

Sabotage was a huge wall of menacing dark analog power.

  • its actully geezer and ozzy singing

  • it was at the very end of the last song, the writ

  • didnt know thanks for your efforts

  • fuck people fuck off theres actually people who havent heard it.

i didnt know about it so who ever posted this thanks.

  • Anybody know what drumset Bill Ward's got at :22?

  • Seems like a Ludwig Vistalite, in black pearl finish

  • sounds like something from southpark

  • I don't know if I would call this rare. Anyone who bought the Sabotage record when it came out owns it...

  • i already said this, its just that some ppl dont know about it

  • I had 'Sabotage' with this track on it. I lost it and decide to buy it on CD. I was kind of pissed when I didn't hear 'Blow on the Jug' at the end.

  • its silly cause it it was just them fooling around in the studio

  • first off, Ozzy cant play piano (he doesn't have the finger dexterity to play piano & Tony Iommi has always been the Pianist in the band) And that wasn't Bill singing....

  • guitarminion. Dude, have you ever heard Ozzy's voice.

That aint' Bill Ward on vocals. Get a copy of Sabbatoge on cassette and listen to the end of either side one or two - you hear it better.

  • they wrote this after doing a show where mungo jerry(in the summertime) was performing and the crowd liked it better than sabbath, basically pissed sabbath off

  • never heard that b4

  • Nice. But, that is Bill Ward on the piano and joins on the vocals at the end. Ozz is the main vocalist for this song.

  • umm.....no......u think thats ozzy singing? r u serious?

  • a) That is obviously Ozz.

    b) I know what Bill sounds like

    c) I know for a fact, it is very well documented that it is.

  • yeah, its definitely ozzy then bill.

  • Bill does sing at the end when it begins to fade

  • this is part of "The Writ" from sabbath's 75' album, it is ozzy and bill ward fucking around in the studio

  • eh blow on a jug do álbun sabotage...

    foi gravado no demo!

    =D

  • Not very rare

  • ya, but just sum dont know about it

  • true

  • Ozzys pretty good at piano haha

  • lol

  • Wonderful stuff I adore Sabbath!!!

  • WTF?!

  • WTH!

  • on mine you can hear it

  • u can here on on mine too.....

  • u can here on on mine too.....

  • go0d sheeeit

  • lol thx

  • lol, still laughing at that

  • hahaha
