@ransman413 There's still people making home brew games for the 2600 and some of them are in cartridge form but you would have to order them online. Have you ever heard of Halo 2600? It's actually a really awesome game. You should google it if you are interested.
Side note: I really like what Mark said... "Well every game actually ends the same way with your destruction, the difference is how many points you have before you go out like a bitch" LOL
Twenty-plus years later and this old brick of a console still functions. Then again, I'm not surprised. My brother's Sega Genesis is still alive and kicking (thanks to the magic of duct tape, rubber bands, and some paper clips) after nineteen years.
DOES ANYONE KNOWS the name of the song in the background? I've asked the author directly, his very clever answer "Thanks for the interest....it's not commercial music". Tunatic can't find it. It's the only reason why I klick trough the videos - to hear that song.
I love the original opening music, personally I think you should start using it again for the opening of more reviews. Really liked the (Arcade Remix), pretty sweet. Great review.
@BiffsGamingVideos maybe it doesnt always mean high definition...iv neevr actually seen it been stated that i can remember as meaning that. you may assume it does....but that doesnt make it true
thanks for the review! I went out and got this game pretty much for free. Since I always go to my local fleamarket and buy classic games. Also got a Sega Saturn today and 3 games and an original Gameboy with a game all for 50 bucks. YES!!!!!

Yeah, I'd love to have it as well. I think it is "stock music" though, so I don't think CGR can actually legally provide a mp3 of it, since the show is produced by an actual company, it'll be too risky. Although, I really do wish I could listen to the whole theme. Heck, I once spent hours trying to piece together a long theme from it from various episodes of CGR before!
For a moment there, I thought you were going to make a statement about the sorry state of our 5200 cables, and let the music loop for 4 minutes while you adjusted them. That you would have been incredibly awesome! :)
Not a whole lot, actually. But the difference between Pico games and Half-Life 2 is that people actually gave a shit about Half-Life 2. Like I said a few months ago, everybody knows the game's good. No need to review it.
Namco from this to Tekken. They sure have come a long way. Interesting to learn when comparing cartridges that the 5200 came out before the 2600 version. I always thought the 2600 console came out before the 5200 console.

Wow, the sound effects blow. We kinda expect that on Atari 2600 and 7800 games, but the 5200 sound isn't always as terrible. Meh.

Wow, the sound on this port is lousy. Doesn't sound anything like the elegant sound effects on the arcade Galaxian.
Unusual, since the 5200 usually had decent sound (unlike the 2600 and 7800)!

Sadly, Galaxian seems to be overshadowed by Galaga.
