  • Hi Steve,

Great, well done and very informative video. I've heard that acrylic has a lot of advantages over glass, but people I speak to on forums say that over time acrylic starts to yellow. Is that true? I was thinking about a 60 by 18 by 20 tank. How much would that tank cost me for you to make and in the area of shipping as well. Thanks for your time and answer.

  • @audioman628 Maybe on inexpensive acrylic but we have never had this issue. As for costs, please email the sales department directly, we'll be happy to help you with that.

  • Whats the size and price of this aquarium? Please help :)

  • @cesarvillar3 I believe this is a 55 gallon and like all our videos right below the video is a link to the actual page where we sell them along with all the prices. Thank you for watching.

  • ok, makes sense.

  • i want to buy one but i dont know were to click on on the website please help

  • @ilikebabyturtle As with all our videos on youtube just click on the link right below the video. You can also go to our website and click on Aquarium Supplies and then on Acrylic Aquariums.

  • @BigApplePetSupply can you ship things to bali in indonesia

  • You should also consider offering painted backgrounds in black instead of just clear.

  • @mrpmj00 We do not offer painted backgrounds in black as we think painted is somewhat "low end" but we do offer in the Acrylic Aquarium Options page linked at the bottom of the acrylic aquariums page of our website actual Black Acrylic Panels. This is much nicer than a painted option. Most people call us with custom work and we do make acrylic aquariums well past 400 gallons.

  • I was looking for a 72 L x 24 wide x 24 high.

    The closest 2 tanks I saw you only listed was a 72 L x 18 W x 25 H which is not very wide at 18 inches.

    I also saw a 72 L x 24 W x 17 H which is 24 deep like I want but it is only 17 inches tall.

You should consider offering the standard 180 gallons size of 72 L x 24 wide x 24 high in the dropdown box.

  • @mrpmj00 Yes, we absolutely have the 180 wide acrylic aquariums and your suggestion to list these larger sizes in the drop down makes a lot of sense. I will forward this to programming and see if we can get that done.

  • I love acrylic aquariums and I love your open top acrylic aquariums because I prefer hang-on equipments like protein skimmers, refugiums, etc.

Unfortunately, your tanks are short (I noticed only about 17 inches) yet my existing acrylic tank is 20 inches tall.

  • @mrpmj00 If you go back to the link on our website there are a number of tanks that are 25 inches high but we also custom build any size. We tried to list all the UPS shippable stock sizes because once it goes to truck shipped sizes the freight can get expensive. Please take a look again and you'll see several 25 inch high stock sizes. Give us a ring as we have about 25 other sizes not listed on our website as well.

  • You know, isn't it obvious that most aquariums have an open top that you can put a frame on.

  • @OtakuShazam Actually, many manufacturers of acrylic aquariums do not have an open top design. Rather, the area is framed in acrylic (Euro-Braced) and therefore do not allow full access like these units.
