seems like you might have inversed the wires somewhere. I had kind of the same problem and it was because my all my Switch+ where connected to led+ (or switch- to led- I don't remember)
To troubleshoot it, I suggest putting a breadboard between your unsped shield (if that's what you're using) and your break-off board (or your wires if you didn't use the break-off board). That way you can easily switch your connections and see what is wrong.
did you ever get this fixed? curious as to what was the problem. having issues with mine trying everything i see just to see if it helps me.

uhh i dunno what the problem is, sorry. i haven't been paying attention to monomes for a few months now. guessing this is a newer model?
eh try emailing customer service with a link to this vid and some more specifics if there are any.
