I have heard that you can train cats to do this by gradually moving their box closer to the toilet each day, then onto the toilet for a few weeks, then by cutting a hole in the box and leaving it on the toilet, and finally you remove the box and the cat simply goes to the toilet. And SOME cats can be trained to flush! It also works for men.
