  • That is hour rush? Wow shit.. Cuz I have soon move to new York from Midwest for my new job.

  • penn station can either be clear or crowded lol

  • @flyewr1907 lol ya lol

  • Um......why dont they just get a cab or walk?

It'd be faster than this anyway =P

  • @3litz4eva These people are waiting to board commuter trains, not subway trains. It would not be practical to take a cab or walk to their destinations.

  • the big apple...!

  • Geesh.... And Penn Station seems to have permanent problems with the air conditioning!!

  • The Penn station is a disaster and NYC and Amtrak are too lazy to upgrade oen of the most important stations. The project is called Moynihan station and would expand the current station to the Post office. THhe current Epnn station is just ugly and over-croweded= a place to avoid.

  • It is being expanded.

  • Wow.

  • when i went security almost shot me down because i had a cam out

  • Holy snot! I took the 2:07 local to Trenton last Wednsday, and this was NO WHERE NEAR this many people, and plus I was able to get my ticket like 4 mins before departure and was able to get to the train and find a seat without trouble

  • That's because you took the 2:07 PM on a Wednesday.

  • Yeah, that was during a weekend. On Wednesday's, people are at work

  • yea i take the train to edison from there and i always yell moooooo

  • New York City fell behind other cities.

    Nothing was improved during Bloomberg.

  • I disagree. I don't think this video is indicative of NYC falling behind any other cities. And Mayor Bloomberg has nothing to so with what is shown in this video.

  • And then people have the nerve to say that the current building is sufficient as a train station. THIS IS NY, NY REQUIRE BIG TRAIN STATIONS. WE NEED A MUCH LARGER REPLACEMENT FOR PENN STATION!.

  • I agree. That's why I very much liked the plan to move MSG west one block and build a new, more open Penn Station on the existing location between 7th and 8th. Unfortunately that plan seem to be up in the air right now :(

  • There was an idea to give the project to Port Authority. Whatever gets the job done is what I want. I don't care how long it takes, as long as I can see progress.

  • Though I think the PA would be more focused on building Moynihan (Farley) than on the current Penn Station site.

  • Anything to spread out the crowds.

  • woah that's some made crazeh!
