  • The Light was Good!

  • Pastor told us to listen to this. Imagine not knowing the wonders God has in store for us. Look around each day at the wonders He has created. Remember each time you wake up and realize He has given you yet one more day.

  • You should follow Jesus's basic message, that being; "Don't be a complete twat your whole life".

Science is based on study and observation by countless learned individuals over centuries which is constantly updated as we learn and understand more. Your beliefs are based on a 2000 year old book written only by a select few who sought to control others by fear of damnation in an afterlife. You are confusing the dictionary meaning of the word 'theory' with its scientific useage, you fanny.

  • @cameraguy38 yes science is based on observation, and what you conclude from said observation is based on the paradigm through which you practice science. For christians, science is interpreted from a creationary perspective; for atheists, an evolutionary perspective. You cannot treat an atheistic cosmology as fact, just as you cannot treat a creationary cosmology as fact. This is because science is based on observation. No one has witnessed the creation of the universe.

  • LOVE THIS!! I miss the moon missions, when will we be going back? Best thing America ever did!!

  • Ex Nihilo -- Soli Deo Gloria!

  • You see? Why do you not take the Bible literally. First He separated light from darkness and call it day and night and that was the first earthly day in time. I guess if science told you they find 4.5 billion years rock you'll still take it literally. I'm sorry women but science is not that. Science is just study. You wouldn't study if you know already. Science values theories more than facts. Fact is worthless in it.

  • When are we gonna get ourselves back up there? It's been too long!

  • in the next 5 years, they already have the first versions of the Ares rockets that they are using to go back here at KSC right by me

  • Awesome, just awesome that man could achieve this - the first men to leave the gravitational pull of the Earth and orbit another celestial body. Truly astounding! You those pictures of the Earth rising from the Moon and you realize just how small the Earth is compared to the whole universe. I would trade anything to be Lovell, Borman, or Anders, even with the space sickness!

  • A gramrar is not you.

  • LOL isn't that nice...

  • Apollo 15 took up a Koran too.

  • They needed toilet paper

  • I remember spending this entire Christmas period living with the crew in our hearts and minds. It was history in the making and we were part of it. It was an immense achievement of its day, set the scene for Apollo 11 and it touched us all individually. Its sad to consider though that their quotation would probably be considered very un P-C if the mission was carried out today.

  • Well, thats more because we openly acknowledge that not everyone believes in your white jesus, and we resent having him crammed down our throats... as well as the 25 million you killed when you brought him to us.

  • Spoiled by the quote from the children's story book.

  • Well you see, Nawitus, if the Bible is a children's story book, then God didn't create what you see in that video. If he didn't create it, why are you watching it? It doesn't matter. There's no purpose, no reason, no design, so everything is just random. Why do you criticize it if it doesn't matter to you?

Beautiful clip the entire thing ^^

  • It doesn't matter if you are athiest, agnostic or thiest, the reading from Genesis doesn't spoil it. The Bible is perhaps the most significant book in all of human history, be it good or bad, and even an athiest can't deny it. Don't look at the reading as a religious thing, just look at it from being a human being

  • I saw apollo 8 orbit the moon on X-mas eve, Binocs.

  • Beautiful.

  • A great piece of history, Christman Eve 1968, thanks!
