I just got this for the PS3 on Saturday. The story is good and I love the fact that I can play tracks from the game at the start. The battle system makes boss fights hard when switching to light and dark attacks. I only play with Japanese character voices.

Just one thing... "Fantasy Violence" and "Mild Language" i can understand in this game, but "Use of Alcohol"!? When do they ever drink, or even mention alcohol!?

Seing that just made me think, "Think of the label that GTA 4 would get!" Drinking, swearing, violence, drugs, killing, weapons, racing, discrimination... The list is just neverending!

I beleive in the english 360 version they had both japanese and english voiceactors(correct me if I'm wrong) so the PS3 version will likely be the same. You should check that first cause it'll probaly cost you more to import the Japanese version.

The thing that pisses me off about the extra dungeons in the PS3 version is the way they were included. The first was just unnecessary filler material. And the second is probably a great super tough dungeon.. but it forces you to beat the whole game a second time on hard mode to get to it.

It's SO not fair that they have them drowning on Cabasa, because Al saving polka is very epic. Xbox version doesnt have Serenade, half the scenes in the ps3 one, costume change, and Crescendo. Which is totally unfair.

Well, this game came out about a year ago on Xbox, did it not? Obviously Bandai Namco games wanted to add more... due to the extra 30gb of memory on the Blu-Ray disc.

@Saffielia so thats the thing! i have this for the 360 and after watching serenade and cracendo and all the costume changes on youtube i played for hours looking to see if maybe there's a sidequest that i miss.... thats really unfair

It was built originally on Xbox 360, and then ported and made a lot better for the PS3.

The game also wouldnt fit onto a PS2 game disc.

If you do not already, you should consider getting a current gen console, they are incredible, to say the least.

Thatst because when Microsoft get it as timed exclusive, the devs realise how they could have added much more if it were a slightly later, simultaneous release. Especially with the 20gb or so that is extra on the BluRay disc. The same also happened with the PS3s versions of Alone in the Dark: Inferno and BioShock, the devs release how much more they can make!

When u develop games for Xbox 360 ur force to make achievement. When u develop games for PS3 you choice to make trophies. U see the big diffrent how MS force alot of developer to put achievement ?? Realy man get ur info b4 u talk its makes alot of sence once u learn how MS work.

Trophies are something you can easily patch into a game. Sony is making achievements for many games that were released without them.

Please, don't act like it is the end of the world.
