If they are, then abortion is murder and should be illegal. A similar debate erupted in this country a few hundred years ago over the status of enslaved Africans as people. A woman has the right to not have her body used as an incubator for an unwanted pregnancy in the 1st+2nd trimester. I'm flexible on liability for the man, there's room for negotiation if it's such a big deal.
A fetus has no rights, there is a lot of leeway in 'assault' that goes to motive. If someone trips and falls into a woman who is 6 weeks pregnant and that terminates the pregnancy, is the person charged w/ negligent homicide?

The obvious protest to this is to point out that there is a fringe on both sides - I don't see Gibbs denying that - but the Democrats in Congress did not support the people in these images. Many Republicans, however, seem to have supported the equivalent on this side of the election.

Also, for this video... Bush was a fascist. He kept saying he wanted freedom and what not, but he was worse than FDR. He nationalized many industries, including prescription health and education and banks. He waged unnecessary and costly wars after deriding Clinton for doing so in the 1990s.
That doesn't bail Obama off the hook for following and doing the same thing as Bush. Wars, spending and nationalizing are not the way forward when it was proven disastrous for the last 8 years.
