  • First of all what you bought was a fake. The cocochoco Treatment can only be purchased by professionals. Secondly any shampoo can be used as long is it does not contain Sodium

Laureth sulfate. sulfates are put into shampoos to make them lather becauase 3/4 of all shampoos contain water. Check your shampoo bottle, first ingredient is water. Sulfate strips the cuticle of the hair. IT IS NOT GOOD FOR ANYONES HAIR.

  • I've got black hair and nov 4 I've got the Cocochoco Keratin from Ebay in a small bottle with no lable on it there was no shampoo or conditioner in the package so i ordered the Ion shampoo and conditioner that involves Sodium Laureth Sulfateseller the seller told me that i could use that one. I've put it in , it worked but teard up my eyes for days. After washing it out it was smooth but it felt dry. Now 2 months later the Keratin is no longer in my hair. The hair is dry and looks dead. :-(

  • i had it done my hair was a massive mess and now i love it. i paid 300 to get it done, but honestly was worth every penny. its alot of work i dont think i would ever attempt to do it at home.

it actually does work but dont try todo it at home. b.c you dont know what you are buying.

  • Hair is Dead Protein. Keratin is just another word for Protein. Any true professional stylist will tell you, Keratin cannot be put back into the hair fiber. Another issue I have with this service is that the steam you see shooting off the hair in the flat iron process causes serious health risks to both client and stylist. Sinus and brain cancer are among some of the worst. Do your research!

  • @sophiapuppy THis is why we advise you to get this process done professionaly.

First of all Keration can be fused back into the hair with this process. Second of all the steam you see is not riskey in a salon because proper ventilation and precautions are made to insure safety and we are governed by the state board of health that checks for the Formaldehyde levels often in the salons. Exposure to this Formaldehyde is so slight,

    it will not affect you.

  • @Mystyred I AM a professional licensed cosmetologist (30 Yrs) and salon owner (16 yrs) who knows what he's talking about! I'm here to tell you sweetie, and you should already know this, KERATIN CANNOT BE PUT BACK INTO HAIR! Hair Is DEAD! It's A Rip-Off Service that damages your hair. This process does NOTHING for the hair in the way of replacing Keratin. Keratin is just another word for Protein.

  • @sophiapuppy It is not a chemical that restructures the hair. It is a replenishing treatment that reconditions and protects the hair from water and heat damage while enhancing it's natural shine. It only coats the hair.Brazilian treatment is not permanent. It naturally fades out of the hair. The wave or curl will gradually come back in about 2 - 3 months. There you have it sweety

  • @sophiapuppy I also am a 29yr licensed professional sweety. Keratin is a protein found naturally in your hair. It can fill in gaps in the hair cuticle that are cracked, dry, or damaged. It is mixed with varying levels of formaldehyde, and applied to the hair, and then sealed in with the heat of a flat iron. The formaldehyde helps hold the keratin molecules together, which straightens your hair and keeps it that way.

  • @Mystyred And so me a favor....quit calling me sweetie...i'm not your sweetie.

  • @Mystyred So what company do you work for? Let me guess.......

You sell these products, right? I thought so.

  • @sophiapuppy I am not a salesman and do not sell this produce (which can only be bought professionally). I have worked in South Florida in the Same Salon for the past 18 years doing hair. We render this services to our customers. The state board of health has inspected our shop and we have received high ratings for having clean air.

  • can u put colouring in after?

  • @biebergirls1345 Put your color in first or wait at least 1 week before coloring.

  • i dont see a difference

  • @sekao16 its bad.. don't waste your money. ordered two bottles from their website and tried them twicw on my hair and nothing changed

  • @lanaaly yeah i'm not going to for sure. I did go to walmart and try the keratin treatment by Organix for $13, and I absolutely loved what it did. My hair was fried from straightening and dying over 7 times within 3 months and i never thought i could get my hair to feel that healthy again. The stuff smells like complete garbage and it made my hair really greasy for those 2 days you can't wash it, but after I washed my hair, it gave me the results it said it would.

  • @lanaaly Anything Sold to the public is not the real thing.

  • Nanokeratin System is the best in the world , its safe and the results are amazing we tried it and it doesn't contain Formaldehyde

  • I do not think that you got the Goleshlee product. It is sold to Professional only. THere will be no guarentee on the results. Be Careful.

You need 2 types of shampoo. 1.

The clarifying which is a shampoo that removes all chemicals from the hair. Probally a swimmers shampoo. You can try mixing it with a little baking soda. Works good.

    2. An everyday shampoo that doesn't have any sodium Lauryl Sulfate. The sulfate will strip the hair. Good Luck

  • I odered the CocoChoco kit online from Amazon, however the kit did NOT include the clarifyinng shampoo. How can I get the clarifying shampoo?

  • @looseassociation I do not think that you got the Goleshlee product. It is sold to Professional only. THere will be no guarentee on the results. Be Careful.

  • @Mystyred i bought it from their website..who said they only sell it to proffesionals only??

  • @lanaaly If they sold it to you without credientals then you were duped

  • @looseassociation DO NOT USE A CLARIFYING SHAMPOO.....

ALONG WITH THE SULFATE SHAMPOO IT STRIPS THE HAIR.

Use ONLY a sulfate free shampoo.

  • my hair is very damaged/thin it breaks off when i comb it and can i still use this treatment will it make my hair stronger longer and thicker again please reply

  • @Mystyred i bought it from the gleshlee website... i got the 10oz. bottle from the shop online section and wasted 140$ .. and then i sent them an e -mail complaining about this ugly bottle i received and never got a reply

  • @lanaaly No professional company will gaurentee its product if it is not used by a professional licensed person.

  • @Mystyred and why do you sell it online to non professionals like other keratin producers do?..besides i did it twice by two different proffesionals and it came out a mess the two times.. nothing changed. i used another good brand and my hair was gorgeous after..

  • Without the proper ventilation cosmetologists may be over exposed to excessive levels of either formaldehyde or gluteraldehyde vapor.

Repeated overexposure to either vapor can cause upper respiratory tract irritation, difficulty breathing, occupation-related asthma and other related symptoms, e.g. skin allergic sensitivity or burning/watery eyes.

When used properly, the Aerovex Systems’ Chemical Source Capture system* can help reduce a cosmetologists exposure to safe levels.

  • Where did you find the paint brush?

  • DAM I NEED THAT :]

  • bought this formula online and is really bad.. my hair is the same nothing changed at all.. i do not recommend it at all

  • @lanaaly I have no idea how you used or what you did to your hair with this product. If improperly used you will have no effect at all. You must follow the exact procedure shown in this video in order to achieve results.

  • bought this formula online and is really bad.. my hair is the same nothing changed at all.. i do not recommend it at all

  • i was wondering if it damaged hair because i did this treatment in miami and it made my hair break. i think its beacuse i relaxed it a week before i did it and the lady relaxed it again then she put the keratin treatment on it

  • @CatBearThing You cannot damage your hair with this produce. It is not a chemical and does not cause chemical reacftions. It is a protein product only and should make your hair feel better.

  • I SAW THIS ON JUDGE MATHIS...THE HAIR LADY SAYS IT MAKES HAIR SEEM HEALTHY...Formaldehyde, a carcinogenic substance is the major component of almost every keratin hair treatment product. Even the famous Brazilian keratin hair treatment makes use of formaldehyde..AND IT ALSO BREAKS DOWN LUNG TISSUE AS WELL WHEN HEATED..HEATING IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET THE PROTEIN TO BOND WITH YOUR HAIR

  • Formaldehyde, a carcinogenic substance is the major component of almost every keratin hair treatment product. Even the famous Brazilian keratin hair treatment makes use of formaldehyde

  • @tyronemitchelle I think that you should start looking on the lables of every thing you use for your body and hair.

So many products contain Formaldehyde you wouldn't believe it. Also a lot of your products contain Sodium Lauryl sulfate. (used in some toothpaste, shampool, etc. Also cancer causing. Try some under arm antipresperant. Its loaded with alumun. Builds up in the body like arsnick. Dont you just love what the manufactures are doing to in the name of the almighty buck.

  • they took all the keratin products from all the shelves here in canada that must say something....here the government pays for healthcare and alot of money would be spent helping ppl that use this keratin treatment if it makes them sick...i have nothing against someone that uses it and totally agree with u about the other products like aerosol air fresheners etc....

  • this is the worse thing i have ever done to my hair.. i ordered this product from their web site and all i got was an ugly bottle with bad printing saying only the name of the product.. no ingredients, no instruction, nothing..i tried it on my hair and my hair is the same, same curls, nothing changed.. DONT EVER TRY IT

  • @lanaaly If you were able to buy this over the counter then it was not the real deal.

This produce is only available to professionals.

  • is this safe to do if you have really fine hair?

  • This process can be used safely on any type of hair. Fine, medium, coarse, virgin, or chemical processed.

  • @mrsbarbersince05 This is safe for any type of hair

  • Hi, do you have a place in miami?

  • My shop called Hairbenders is located in Coral Springs, FL.

  • A hot comb is not hot enough to bind the keratin to the hair. You need a flat iron that reaches 450%

  • Is it true that you need to use a sodium free shampoo and contioner after this treatment

  • YES it is true. Sodium sulfate wil strip the keratin out of the hair.

  • wat flat iron is that

  • Babyi Bliss bio ionic iron heats to 450 %

  • alot of other flat iron dos 2 like sedu and solia

  • i wanna ask about something..if i get my hair permenantly dyed ..will the result of the keratin treatment come out as good as if my hair was previously relaxed since they're both chemicals..or is relaxing it better?

    thank you

  • The Keratin hair treatment is not a chemical. It can be used on any type of hair inclucing dyed, bleached, permed, previously straightened, and it will not harm your hair at all. In fact it will make your hair feel better than ever.

  • mystyred if u do the treatment on someone who still wants volume can u still get it? and if u can blow dry the hair with volume and curls after the treatment, or does it stay stick straight after thy shampoo.

  • Your hair will still have some volume and it will hold a curl. Your hair will return to being straight after you have wet it.

  • THE KERATIN TREATMENT IS NOT A CHEMIICAL.

There fore after wait 10 days after the treatment you can do any other type of chemical treatment including color, bleach, or perm. right over the Keratin treatment and it will not hurt your hair.

  • first of all, no die is perment. and the answer is no the treatment will not come out.

  • The smoothing of the hair understands two consecutive stages: REDUCTION and OXIDATION:

The advance in this new Goleshlee Professional formula is that the reduction stage happens in a band of pH between 7 and 9. That means, no hair damage in the same ratio that common alienates.

  • I have done the keritan treatment on all types of hair including afro and have had beautiful results.

  • Could you still do a video on it? I always see pics or videos w/ non-kinky/non-afro hair and it help more to see the results on someone of my same background.

  • It is not permanent, It slowly comes out of the hair. However like any other type of hair treatment the roots must be re-done as they grow out. The more you use the longer it lasts.

  • Quel est le prix ?

Je trouve vraiment le résultat parfais et surtout NATUREL !

  • Is this permanet?

  • No, like any type of hair straighting as the roots grow out it must be re done. This process will not destroy hair that has been overlaped.

  • You need do nothing to your hair before the treatment. If you however have chemicals in your hair then you can work right over those

    chemicals.

  • I understand that each section has to be flat ironed multiple times but why in the world would you take the flat iron and go back and forth over the hair like that? She seems very careless to me. I would be mad at her if she did that to my hair.

  • The reason to flat iron is to fuse the Keritan with the hair and make a bond.

If done properly it will not damage the hair, it will only make it stronger.

  • The process of ironing the hair over and over is what bonds the Karitan to the hair.

It must be done quickly so that no damage is caused to the hair.

  • if you live in CT and want this treatment done call 203-215-5525. I charge $200.

  • The price would still be the same. The product is quite expensive and it takes time to do.

  • The Coppola is very low in formaldehyde and so is the Goleshlee CocoChoco treatment. Its a good idea to check out what your stylest is using before commiting to a treatment.

  • Peter Coppola does not contain Formaldehyde. I use it in my two shops. There is no regrowth, it is unlike Japanese Straightening and slowly washes out.

  • Hi my name is Isis and i would like to know how much it cost the treatment in your salon?

and also i would like to contact you!

i have the treatment on my house the keratin, the price would be the same?

  • how much do they charge for shoulder length hair?and where can you go and get it done any salon??

  • The price depends on your location and the shop you go to. It can range anywhere from $150 to $500. The Your finer shops in better neighborhoods will naturally be more than a small shop in a middle class neighborhood.

  • If its been a year since your last process you should have at least 6 inches of healthy new growth. The rest I can't help you with. If you like your curles then you should find the right products that will help to make your hair more managable. There are some good ones on the market. Just ask your stylist which is best for your type hair. Any type of relaxer you use will make it straight again.

  • Yes to your question. I have held a license for 25 years and am still working in a shop. The Brazilian is the only one you can use over and over again after using any other chemical treatment.

  • It has a keratin base which bonds with your hair. It can be used on any type of hair (course, kinky, curly, white, ethnic)and it will make your hair straight without any harnfull effects. I would advise you to check into the type that the stylest is using.Use one that comes from an american company that has a very low formaldehyde content.

  • can this treatment be done on african american hair? can it be done after a relaxer?

  • It can be used on any type of hair (course, kinky, curly, white, ethnic)and it will make your hair straight without any harnfull effects. I would advise you to check into the type that the stylest is using.Use one that comes from an american company that has a very low formaldehyde content. Hope that helps.

  • Any brand is ok as long at it gets up to 450/460% Be careful because at this heat if you do not know what you are doing, you can burn your hair.

  • The cost depends on what state you live in and what stylist is doing it. It can cost anywhere between $200.00 and $500.00.

    (thats a rough guess)

  • I do not know to much about this process but from what I read, I has chemical contents becuse it will last till the new groth. However it takes about 5 to 6 hrs.whereas the Keratin Hair Treatment is not a chemical. It bonds Keratin with the hair to make it stronger. It takes about 2 hrs. It is not permanent and must be redon in about 4 months. The more you do it the longer it lasts.

  • on really curly hair how does it look after the 4 days?

  • It dosn't matter if your hair is kinky or very curly, If done right it will be very straight.

  • OMG! she is so clueless with hair... people dont fall for this, its common to know that as long as u put in a nourishing heat protector and blowdry/iron it, ur hair becomes straight and shiny and manageable til your next wash. I would be horrified if THAT MUCH steam came from ironing my hair. That should never happen.. Just go for japanese straightening/rebonding.

I just did it myself yesterday and it came out great, and whats better? Its permanant unlike this one.

  • OMG your clueless. Any chemical straightner can cause breakage and damage to the hair and if you decide that you don't like it then your stuck.

  • I have tried to contact you. Please can you tell me the temperature setting of the flat iron. Also until when i have to pass the flat iron on the section of hair doing infussion. Thanks, Maria.

  • The setting on the flat iron should be 460. That is why you must have a professional do it. They know how to do it properly.

  • Until when to pass the flat iron on the section of hair doing infussion. Thanks, Maria.

  • you must go over and over it until it stops steaming, about 8 to 12 strokes. Do not go slow and use a highly heat resistant comb to follow it through to keep the hair straight.

  • How much time it takes the whole procedure in medium length? Will you do the application on wet hair? Thanks.

  • I am a NJ licensed Hairstylist and would love to get in touch with the distributor.

  • The nice thing about this process is that is not a chemical it fuses keratin into your hair. It will leave you're hair with body not flat and limp like a regular straightner. You cannot touch it for at least 3 days after processing. No Clips, Ponytails, scarfs, do not pull behind your ears, no glasses on top of your head. no sweating. If your hair gets wet you must blow dry it imediately and flat iron it.

  • comment part 2

Then you must maintain your hair by washing with a low ph shampoo free of sulfates and sodium. After the waiting period you can do what ever you want with it. Since it is not a straightner it will hold a curl, unlike a chemical treatment.

And yes it does contain formaldehyde. The amount is just as miminal as the amount of floride or clorine in your water. Are you going to stop drinking water?

  • This process will never damage the hair it in fact makes it stronger and shinier.

As far as the formaldehyde. The amount is minimal and not enough to cause any cancers.

  • I am interested in having this done on my hair too. I would say that I would not have it done IF I had a inherited form of cancer such as some types of colon, breast or lung cancers. For that matter I would stay away from smoking and fatty foods. Truly, exposure to formaldehyde is relevant based on your biology,as a susceptible person will be prone to cancer.Since I don't have those issues,I wanted to know if this treatment irritates the skin if it gets on it? I do have very sensitive skin.

  • The product is applied about 1/4" from and never placed directly on the scalp. It has been my experience so far that the only Irritant thus far has been to make the eyes tear from the steam that arrises from the hot iron. Best when used in well ventelated area.

  • The music sounds like a porn tape.

  • I want to get this done soon. I have wavy but very frizzy hair and I heard this will totally straighten it out. Is that true? I'll be able to air dry my hair?

  • i had it done!! it doesnt exactly straighten the hair like a relaxer or bionic treatment. Its a keratin(protein) treatment and it just rebuilds the hair(really good) which makes it super smooth and easier to manage. Its worth it because you wont demage the hair like you would with chemical relaxers

  • thanks for the info!

  • If the process is done correctly you will be able to air dry your hair to achieve a straight look. Also Its reaction is similar to a Perm in that the keratin wears away and must be repeated. The more you do it the longer it lasts.

  • thank you
