Christains are just pimped by Republicans, what has voting for a republican politician to do with Christianity? aren't they the same guys sleeping with pages, cheating, lying, taking corrupt money etc?
sorry but republicans have a much higher chance to have morals and ethics, since most democrats dont even know what those words mean. ive never met a dem or their alter ego a liberal who wasnt corrupt and had no moral or ethical character. they only care about what will benefit them and not humanity. since most republicans also believe in God we tend to follow Gods laws and not our own. conservatives think with their brains and hearts, liberals think with their hearts. thats just the way it is.
Who is Larry Craig (a republican caugh in a gay sex sting), who is Mark Foley (a republican caught having sex with male pages), who is Mark Sanford (republican gov who want to have sex in Argentina) who is Ted Hagard (republican, pastor of new church) caugh with gay sex and using meth. is that what you consider morals? is that what Christianity is all about? it's all politics, stupid, they have nothing to do with religion or God.
This is just outstanding, thank GOD for Pastor Paul Jehle. It is time to take our country back from the socialist and communist like Barrack Obama, George Soros and ACLU that are attempting to destroy America moral values and freedom.
Good word. As a former professional historian (doctoral work centered upon nineteenth-century American history), I affirm that Mr. Jehle's observations are largely accurate.
Implementing the speaker's urging, though, could prove difficult in a country that, no longer a nation, has largely abandoned the founding, shaping, and blessing given it by Christianity. (I note, for those who in ignorance of Christianity fear that its power could force or oppress them, that the Lord God forces no one.
(I note, for those who in ignorance of Christianity fear that its power could force or oppress them, that the Lord God forces no one. From the first settlement more than four hundred years ago, people other than believing Christians have been tolerated more here, in what are now the United States, than anywhere else on earth: for this, as much as for the riches of the land, Jews, Roman Catholics, and now even Hindus, Moslems, and others have flocked to the country.

My impression is that Mr. (or Mrs.) Rowarst does not know that the FIRSTand LARGESTgroup of Christians are Roman Catholics and he separate them from Christians mixing with other religions. Shame, shame, shame
@mjaros46: Indeed, not: the Roman church separated from what now is called the Eastern Orthodox some centuries after the crucifixion. But my original comments applied to the history of Christianity in English-speaking America, in which almost no settlers were Romanist (perhaps 1% of the 1.5 million or so "Americans" at the outbreak of the Revolution in 1775).
I appreciate that you may feel some shame in not being aware of the histories of Christianity or the United States. Simply read!
Each is free to make his own choices; a truly Christian commonwealth will require nothing more than a respect for common decency and civil deportment -- no crime or attempt to offend for the sake of offence.)
Well said. However, let us not fall into the trap of believing that it is in government and laws that we will find solutions to society's ills. It is in God alone that the revolution we seek begins and ends. The time for revival is NOW, and it comes by allowing God to birth His plans in each one of us TODAY! Sit back and watch what happens as we (willing and active Christian believers) come to know and release His will in this country and beyond. Vote your conscience, but Jesus is NOW!
Jesus is all about justice among men (Is. 9:7; Matt. 12:18), the very thing in which the American church has now long been negligent. Way to go, Paul.
Perhaps the churches should not VOLUNTARILY sign a contract with the government to be silent on political issues. 501(c)3

@Blackwolf460 - Not true, Republicans seem to hide it better. Both parties are corrupt and need to be done away with.
