Song was great, but just a note to those out there who also watched this video. I realize this is a fictional story, but she can't become a geisha that quickly. You have to be a maiko first, which is a geisha in training. All throughout the movie she wad dressed as a maiko, so she never became a true geisha. They got the steps and clothing and hair all wrong.

I think the film was more of a love story than a record of facts.

A Maiko must only paint her top lip, and until she becomes a true Geisha, then only can she paint both lips.

This is my favorite Ziyi Zhang movie after Crouching Tiger and House of Flying Daggers. Ken Watanabe was great in this movie as well.

Absolutely brilliant tribute!!! Images and music are very well linked (Sayuri's dance is perfectly done). You have chosen really well the most important scenes of the film, and "Becoming a Geisha" is the most breathtaking track of that wonderful soundtrack. I HAVE ENJOYED THIS TRIBUTE A LOT!!! You could do another one with clips from "The last emperor", another great film.
